As a car wash soap, yes it will get your car clean. There are levels of crazy when it comes to car washes. I am happy if my car is not gray with salt, and my main goal wish winter washes is to protect from rust, period. I was completely happy with the clean, and the shine. I did not use a separate wax or any other product but this.
It is March here, about 30-40 degrees F, and I admit that washing the car with a bucket was not the most pleasant experience. But the value proposition of this product replacing a month of car washes was too good to pass up. You’ll want to use a spray wand and canister–what I’ll be doing next time!
It certainly got the car clean, but of course only the body panels–you still have to figure out how to get the undercarriage if you really care about salt corrosion on a car you intend to own and maintain for years. Another special wand on rollers would get you there.
One nice bonus: the March morning frost seems to slough off just a tad easier after using this wash than before. Just like after a commercial car wash. That gives me some evidence that there’s a protective coating being applied.
Overall, I’m totally happy with the performance of the product. The concept is attractive to me. I don’t think it is anything like an oil spray (that’s a whole other league of protection for the undercarriage), but the product doesn’t claim to be that.

My car is looking spiffy. It foams nicely and smells nice. It seems to remove all the grit and salt well. It did leak, so know that there isn’t a protective seal on it when it arrives.

This is GREAT for all of us that live down on the beach! The soap quality is top notch, it foams up really well, it cleans our vehicles thoroughly and it smells really good. It works like a true car soap should!

Let me first summarize my overall thoughts on this salt-climate car shampoo if you don’t wish to read the full review. This product is excellent and has become my new favorite winter time pre-wash in my car cleaning regiment. Read on if you would like to know some more specifics.

+ Vehicle: My current vehicle has frontal PPF, and full 10yr ceramic coating
+ Cleaning Method: 2 stage, 3 bucket wash
1) Presoak foam cannon, no touch
2) Pressure Rinse
3) Finish wash foam cannon
4) Mit/touch wash, uses 2 buckets (wash & mit rinse), 3rd bucket is rims & tires
5) Pressure Rinse
6) Blow dry the bulk of the water
7) Rinse aid and towel dry (Adams Graphene Detail Spray)
With the above prescribed wash method, I replaced the product I was using as a pre-wash in step one. I still like to use the Adams Graphene Shampoo as a finishing shampoo (step 3) because it corresponds to my Adams ceramic coating and provides added hydrophobic properties. However, my stage one product left something to be desired, although it was okay. This salt removing shampoo product from Carfident was very impressive overall. I wasn’t able to throw an extremely salted vehicle at it for testing, but I think this demonstrated its ability nonetheless.
+ Salt Dissolving & Performance: Excellent. Very happy with the amount of work this put in as a pre-wash. It removed nearly all visible contaminants and salt spray.
+ Scent: Light, mostly didn’t notice it

+ Cling/Dwell: Nice staying power, great dwell time.
Like I said, this is without question my new favorite pre wash product, at least for the late Winter and early Spring months. I think users could certainly get away with doing a 2 stage wash with just this product alone. If you’re not picky about mild scratching and superficial damage to the clear coat, a single stage wash would be fine as well. I am very impressed. I now need to put a few other Carfidant wash products on my list to try…see how they compare to my current favorites.

Carfidant Salt Crusher car washing soap does a great job, and isn’t just for those people who live in a northern climate where salt is applied to the roadways. It’s also great for people who live near the beach and their car is exposed to the salt water in the air there as well. It smells great, foams up really well during use and leaves the car looking great. Its hard to apply to the underside of the vehicle but any car was is for that matter. Rinses well and once dried, your car looks super shiny. I feel better knowing that I am doing everything I can to prolong the finish of my car that dwells along the gulf coast.

First impressions: Nice medium sized bottle of concentrated car wash soap. The soap works in a bucket or soap cannon.
Installation/setup: Use as directed to clean your car or other vehicle.
Final thoughts: This works well. We have dust storms in the southwest of the US, and the dust gets everywhere, in all the crevices. The car wash foam gently removes all the grit, easily cleaning my car’s finish. The soap rinses easily as well, leaving my car shiny without residue. I like this and I’m glad I got it.

Regular car soap.i don’t live in a salted road kind of area but when I go to the beach I use this to spray off my car.i don’t have rust popping up so I’m assuming it’s working. Definitely recommend to use on the underside of your car. Some people are particular with what they put on their paint but the underside it won’t hurt.
