The slot on the original lever arm had to be altered to fit the bolt on the motor. The bolt/key is larger than the factory one. Must be the metric thing.

Amazon and car parts are a bad mix. Nothing but misinformation and headaches from Amazon. Cardone was of no help either since it was purchased through Amazon , purchased by any other retailer I’m sure cardone could have been more helpful . I bought this middle of February for a car that was not even road worthy yet. Installed it , tried it worked( not in the rain mind you) since February to now middle of April I may have hit the wiper switch 5 times. It’s no longer working I’ve bench tested it had it on and off the car twice now. Amazon customer service refers me to cardone , cardone refers me to Amazon , repeat this a couple times and a few hours over 2 days. Amazon rep falsely tells me a replacement is on the way even gives a date of arrival I call to verify replacement since i don’t see it on my account and I’m told there’s no record of a replacement. Finally amazon offers a return slip, the price jumped up almost 10$ since feb I can’t buy it again , I requested a replacement Amazon and cardone both refused! I bought a different brand from a different retailer. I would have like a made in USA product , I don’t believe this is. Installing it I could not use the original bolts bc the housing is cut slightly thicker I believe metric.
