Out of the box, appeared to be a solid unit. Upon install, the threads used to install the pulley, were shallow, and immediately stripped out.
I was able to seat it after running new threads.
After using a new belt, meticulously bleeding all the air out, and driving it, the pump developed a leak where the reservoir seats against the pump, something I didn’t have to unbolt for the install.
It leaked so quick I didn’t notice until it was nearly empty and stated jerking. The fluid being low caused the pump to eat itself. Now, metal shavings are in my rack, cooler, and power steering hoses.
