- Proprietary engineering processes ensure that all CV Drive Axles meet OE form, fit and function
- Neoprene boots are designed with additional bellows, when needed, to resist bellow stress and cracking, which is the leading cause of boot failure
- An axle retaining nut is supplied with every unit for a hassle-free installation, due to the likelihood that the original retaining nut is worn or stripped
- CV Drive Axle measurements are validated after assembly to ensure a proper fit; Threads are precision rolled to ensure proper fit when axle nut is installed

Bought 2 axles for both front on 2004 subaru forester xs. Driven about 5,000 miles after installing these and I can’t complain. No vibrations, axle boots are holding up, no abnormalities during u-turns. My forester is lifted and I drive on rough terrain and I’m the guy that will cut you off if you’re driving slow on passing lanes. Will go with Cardone axles in the future.

don’t know where there was damage the only thing I seen was a dust cover bent but easily fix with pliers
works fine no shake seems heavy duty A++

The axle from 3 parts stores and the dealer was the wrong one. We could not find a visual match for the one the would fit. We ran a google image search and found the Cardone website. When we used the website, it actually checked to see if the part we were ordering would fit the car. There were 2 different types of axies for the car for that year. The visual images on the sight were excellent and the check to see if it fit, ensured that we actually had the correct part. Shipping was fast. Part was correct and we have had no issues. Would return to buy more car parts from this site in the future.

These went in well and fixed the problem. The only downside is that they are failed again and it has been 2 years, 20k miles. Decent value for the money, but might be worth paying more for higher quality if your car has more than a couple years left of life in it.

due to having additional pleats in the boots, the company that made the lift recommended this axle. after the lift, all was well then my son hit a curb while avoiding people in the middle of the street at night. the car then developed a wobble at 20-25 mph and again near 55 and we noticed tears in the boot. new axle eliminated all the problems and I got no concerns from our trusted mechanic about the part.

fit and finish was perfect, the rubber seemed to be stronger then oem, length was spot on when compared to oem axle, plus its half the cost, well worth the money

Often with non-OEM CV axles you will get vibrations at higher RPMs due to mismatches vs OEM on the other side. I bought 2 of these to replace the worn out front CV axles on my daughter’s 03 Forester. Installed them both (perfect fit, no issues there), car is quiet and vibration free. I can’t vouch for just installing one, as i’ve had issues doing that on another car (also a forester) with a non-OEM CV axle, but in this case, at least when doing both sides, these work great. Doing both sides for $100, probably 1/10th of what a shop would charge, very happy.
