- As a remanufactured Original Equipment part, this unit guarantees a perfect vehicle fit
- All critical components (cam packs, spool valves, etc.) are triple-tested to ensure product reliability; Units are supplied with 100% tested and calibrated pressure relief valves
- All units are built with 100% new O-rings and premium-grade HNBR seals to prevent leaks; HNBR does not break down at high temperatures like conventional seal material
- Shafts are surfaced to precise specifications to eliminate premature seal wear and extend pump life; Final pump assembly is computer-tested to measure pressure, bypass, fluid flow, valve operation, steering effort and noise to ensure reliable performance.
- Our remanufacturing process is earth-friendly, as it reduces the energy and raw material needed to make a new part by 80%.

Power steering pump failed after 11 months of use. For the first month and half, this pump whined like banchee. Probably after some use this thing wore down and did not make much noise. I am not even going to cash in on the warranty because another reviewer complained about the whining. Right off the bat, their re-manufacturing procedures are flawed. I am not in the mood to replace this damn part once more. Never buying from A1 Cardone again.

Installed the pump. Put in new Mercon V and purged the air multiple times by turning lock to lock. Whines like a banchee! I was hoping it would go away with use as more air would be purged, but that has not happened. It seems I got a worn out pump. As a reman I’m sure they put new seals in it but NOT the pump vanes!
Took me about 3 hours to replace and was a PITA. Not sure if I have any recourse for a return with Amazon, but I have to put up with the bad pump noise for several weeks until I have the time to replace it again.
Tip for installers:
Also be aware and very careful with the short suction and pressure lines. This is just the pump only. You must re-use your old ones, but it does come with a new o-ring for the suction line. The pressure line is special short rigid steel line with inverted flare fittings on each end that may-or-may not be re-usable. (In my opinion it should come with new ones!) For me, the threaded ferrell was cross threaded when I pulled it apart and damaged the threads getting it out! Make sure to mark the original position/alignment with a sharpie before taking it off. You cant get to it when it is installed on the car so you better hope it was positioned right and you got it tight with no leaks! Otherwise you have to take it all apart and start over!
