Kindle Customer –
I thought that there was a gasket included in this kit. Mine did not come with one. The other parts shown in the photo were shipped but not the gasket. How may I get a gasket for it?
Faye Seida –
Not good. Didn’t fit as promised

The generator in our motor home was hard to start surging while running. I pulled the carb and tried to clean and adjust but the generator never ran as it should. The factory carb has been discontinued. This carb bolts right up and the linkages connect just like the factory unit. I did add a light spring (a couple of bucks at the parts store) to the choke linkage to hold it open. I grounded to solenoid on the generator frame and tied the positive into the fuel pump circuit. As soon as everything was hooked up and double checked I hit the start button and it fired right up. Idles perfectly and no surging! Would recommend to anyone needing a quick/easy carb replacement for a Generac Q-55G.

Did not include all the gaskets or instructions for modified linkage!!!

Not sure about the electric fuel shutoff as mine has the old style bowl float valve, no directions on how or where to connect the wires so it will work correctly

As advertised, it bolts up perfect and the unit now runs great. Drilled a small second hole in the choke lever and connected a light spring (Briggs and Stratton governor spring from a local shop) from the choke lever to the bracket below the carb. Spliced the fuel solenoid hot wire to the fuel pump positive wire and attached the solenoid ground wire to a nearby bracket using the existing bolt. I see this carb is now out of stock, hoping they become available again soon for the folks who own these aging Generac RV generators.
