Perfect replacement for the carb on my Generac GP5500 generator. Someone, maybe me, left some gas with ethanol in the generator and we let it sit for a year or so. Of course the carburetor gummed up. The easiest way to fix it is replace it. These small carbs are relatively inexpensive and easy to change if you get the right one.
This was the right one for my application. It fit and it was all preset from the factory. I installed the new carb, connected the gas, and pulled the cord. Second pull it started and settled right in running perfectly. I’ll confess it felt good. Now I make certain we use only no ethanol gas and run it once or twice a month.

Perfect for the winter storm generator refresh. Comes with the plug. Makes getting the generator going a one hour job instead of cleaning the gunky carb for hours. Fits my honda clone engine.
