A good addition to my socket collection. I’m always running into odd size nuts and bolts. Some are metric. Manufacturers are always looking for odd fasteners to prevent owners from working on their stuff. Good to have many sizes just in case.

For the price, this is a quality looking socket! It has a good solid feel and fit on my oil sensor nicely. Fit the 3/8 drive perfectly and came off easily after use. Good addition to any toolbox for its intended purpose.

Perfect fit for the GM oil pressure sensor. Each of the 6 inside points are rounded to perfectly fit the rounded points of those sensors, because they’re not a sharp hexagonal design. This provides a better grip than a standard 27mm socket when used on these pressure sensors. Definately recommend!

Seems well made. Robust, yet thin-walled enough for the tight clearance in my application. Just what I needed. Fit my old and new oil pressure sensors perfectly.

Works great to replace the hard to reach and see LS oil pressure sensor behind the intake. 3/8 drive is nice instead of the larger 1/2 you see this large size socket size in.

This socket is definitely higher quality than I expected for the price. If you need a pressure sensor socket of this size, you won’t go wrong with this one. Definitely a good tool to have in your toolbox!

This tool has the look and feel of an impact socket, but don’t be fooled, looks can be deceiving.
I wanted a 1-1/16th inch socket to complete a set of impact sockets that are missing one this size. I was disappointed that the socket only comes in 3/8″ drive, because I really wanted 1/2″ drive.
The paint and texture of the socket makes it look like it is an impact socket quality tool. That is not the case, however. The walls of the socket are thin, and I never have used a 3/8″ impact gun. Is there one even made?
I believe that this tool is an ‘application specific’ tool for removing an oil sending unit. It probably works great for that purpose, but it’s not what I really wanted. I will continue my search.
