Goes on easily and a little goes a long way, even when you are not trying.

So I was going to detail my car since im sure it wasn’t done on it before in a long time. So after some research I found these steps to take when detailing, make sure you set aside a day or two if doing it by hand, otherwise use a machine which I would recommend after what I did.
#0 Wash the Wheels and tires first to make sure contaminants from the wheels dont go on the paint.
#1 Pre-Rinse the car and then Hand Wash it after, I used a pressure washer for the foam cannon and used a mitt and one bucket of water to rinse my mitt in it after every panel, after I was finished I used a microfiber drying towel from chemical guys.
#2 Clay bar the car, I used the quick lube in the bottle it came with but after I ran out of that I used my car soap in the spray bottle for lubricant, ‘Side note others use dawn or any dish soap instead of any other lubricant to break down other contaminants or “more” wax to leave the surface more clean which may be true since the quick detailer does contain a sort of wax to it and so does the megiuars ultimate car soap, which could hinder the performance of the next steps since they would be a small film of protection’. This took me 3-4 hours by hand, do this under some shade and make sure the cars paint is cool and not warm or hot, and not when its windy “my mistake” after this step my paint and windows and mirrors felt really smooth and was amazed by the soft feel it gave but after this step it gets more important since you dont have any wax or sealant anymore. If your paint is already in good condition with no scratches go to step 4 so you can polish it since you want that extra shine.
#3 I used megiuars ultimate compound by hand to rub off any small scratches I had like dog nail marks and such, ‘using a machine like a da polisher would work much better than by hand and get you better results from this step and the next step #4’ then after that I used it across the entire paint not the windows or mirrors those would get damaged, Make sure you follow your directions for the compound if you will be needing or using one. After doing this by hand for 3 hours the paint was not smooth but squeeky clean because when I dragged my fingers across the paint it would squeal which suprised me because I never heard a paint do that before, but it is a compound so it cuts through clear coat a little or a lot depending on what you are doing. I used some extra pressure around the scratches I had and they went away. Remember a compound eats away any waxes or sealants so you need to reapply some sort of protection right after otherwise you have a patch of raw clear coat unprotected.
#4 I used megiuars ultimate polish, follow the directions on the bottle of your polish or glaze. After the compound I used this product by hand and put some extra force into it ‘A machine would do a better job’, I had some help this time since it was tiring. After I polished the car by hand wow what a difference the cars paint did not squeal but it was smooth like legit BUTTER and it has a clear shine to the paint which it never had before. And the reflections were deeper and glossier than ever before.
#5 Last step I used this product by hand, it took me 20-30 minutes, I maybe over did it with too much product which is why it took so long. I did not apply this to any rubber trim since it would whiten it. After I applied this to the paint and also windows and side view mirrors and windshield and headlights/tailights and chrome trim ‘You can also use it on wheels which I would recommend since it can help keep them clean longer and easier to wash as well and protected’ after the chrome trim I waited not 30 mintues for the sealant to cure but 1 hour maybe overkill but whatever. After that I used the towel this carguys sealant came with and wiped down the entire car, after than I let it sit for 12 hours to cure over night. The next day I went to look at the car and it was super clean and reflective/clear with a nice wet look to the paint which it never looked like before, and the paint felt EVEN SMOOTHER than butter absolutely crazy, after that one week went by then I washed it and took a picture of how it beaded water which is the one above. Truly fascinating.
I have applied and did these steps on the car on April 21 on a Sunday 2019, so almost a month has gone past and I can say it is still beading water and when I drive it on the freeway and it rains the water just slides up and over the windshield which I have never seen before either and boy was that just cool. The paint is still soft and smooth as butter, I will only hand wash the car because anything else is just scratching it ‘yes those touchless car washes are just as bad as those standard big machine ones’ should this sealant actually last 6 months I would be hugely impressed. Also another thing is that it gets dirty quickly but I guess that makes sense since now the metal fallout and other pollutants and contaminants dont bond to the paint so now you can easily see it and feel it on the paint which is a good thing since now your paint is protected and your clear coat is not breaking down anymore.

Great wax. I’m usually not a fan of liquid waxes. I like to take my time and really get down and dirty detailing my rides. This wax is really good though. It doesn’t have the most “pop” and gloss I’ve ever seen from a wax but it still looks really good. Longetivity is good as well. What I do like about it the most is the ease of use. The wax spreads like a dream. So smooth and easy and a little goes a long way. It takes a little while to haze up but that is a good thing because this lets you wax the whole car at once instead of one panel at a time. Then when you are done applying I don’t know if I’ve had another wax that was this easy to take off. Even if you accidentally go too thick in an area the wax comes off with ease, but when its applied thin and correctly, you literally just run the towel over it and it comes right off. No more popeye arms from waxing your car. I really like the applicator pad that comes with it too and I wish I could buy this separately.
In short, if you’re not super hardcore or you don’t want to spend hours upon hours doing a wax job this wax absolutely cannot be beat. If you are hardcore you will still be very pleased with this wax and its very very good when you just need to brighten up a clean vehicle without a lot of effort. Its what I would call an outstanding “every day” or “all around” wax.

As far as the longevity of this product goes, I’m not going to be able to comment on that in this review. But I can comment on my results thus far, which have been stellar. I hand wax, no buffer, for clarity of this write up. I have used this in a Basalt Black Metallic 911 and a Barcelona Red Tacoma, both with equally impressive results. The product goes on easily and a little amount covers a lot of car. It does not dry quickly, as a wax would. This is nice because it forced me to adhere to the instructions and leave it sit on the paint to allow good bonding & curing. And, here it comes, this is the biggie for me… wait for it…: NO WHITE RESIDUE ALONG THE LINES OF THE CLEAR 3M BRA THAT IS COVERING THE FRONT OF THE BUMPER, FENDERS AND HOOD. That is worth it all to me, right there. You know what I mean if you have ever had that white residue remain where the paint and the clear bra meet, which is an eyesore and soooooo hard to fix once you have gotten the residue in those transition zones. This product wiped off the entire painted surface with ease and came clean easily and completely, even along the edges of the clear bra. It was pretty much just as easy to wipe off as it was to apply, which is not typical of paint protectant waxes and sealants. Anybody who has experimented with waxes and sealants has likely experienced the product that wont wipe off easily and leaves streaks and takes buffing and buffing and buffing to get to a proper shine. This product required none of that back-breaking elbow work. Easy on. Let it dry an hour. Easy off. BOOM! Done. Looks great so far. I am very excited with the results. This product may ultimately replace my cabinet full of waxes and sealants that crowd my garage. To this point, I could not be happier with the sealant.
