I don’t think these are quite up to the task of actually heating an actual cigar lighter. But for other DC power applications it is quite suitable.
These are well built, and are easily handling the task of electric cooler, small inverter, portable tire inflator. Some of these can be drawing more than 10 amps which has been a problem for other sockets I have gotten.

Got this for my c-10 pickup to replace a one holer already installed. I haven’t actually installed this yet, but it seems to be good quality. It should work well.

I took several road trips this past year, and before walking out the door I grabbed my portable charger, cord and adapter to use as a backup in case I needed Cell service, map, speedometer or speed trap information before running out of power, then signal then…well, you know the rest. Somehow in one of these trips I lost power to my lighter and charging port but never had it fixed, cuz who needs a lighter anyway, right.
I bought this. spent 20 minutes hooking it up (extremely easy) and then realized power again. No cords, no charger. no worries. Then, I remembered I had a two port USB plug in in my console. BRAIN CELL.
I now have 4 illuminated ports as well as a lighter and my charging port in operation. All it took was a few bucks, 20 minutes and a brain cell. PERFECT ROAD FRIEND, GOOD QUALITY, FUNCTIONAL AND EXCELLENT SERVICE.

Put these on my tractor so I have a way to charge my phone and run auxiliary lights that turn on when the tractor is running very thorough and water resistant quality feels good.

One note though, Led light stays on if you wire to a constant on 12v source, not sure how that would affect battery
No switch to cut power, but, can pull the fuse
