This does not really fit the existing cigarette lighter hole found in 2006 mini cooper s. You will need to increase the diameter of the existing hole. I managed to do this by using a reamer. After that though, it seems to work fine.

I have a portable inflater that is 12 volt and plugs onto the power outlet of my truck. Rather than drag everything out to my truck to inflate toys or bike and wheel barrow tires I simply cut the wire connectors off the leads of the power outle. I then attached a female connector that matches the connector on my 120/12volt power supply. Now I simply plug in the power outlet to my power supply and I can run my inflater any where I have a 120 volt home outlet.
