The media could not be loaded.
Prius 12v battery completely dead after sitting unused for the winter. Started charging with a larger computer controlled charger then decided to switch to this. Was totally dead. Nothing going on in the interior. I hooked up this charger to the main fuse panel positive and grounded to a strut tower nut. It is doing it’s job well!. I have monitored it several times. This thing is compact but has a lot of power. I highly recommend this! Far cheaper, smaller, and easier to use than you will find locally

And I’m glad it stays charged for that long because I left my headlights on one morning when I walked into work. And this saved me so much time. I just hooked it up and it charged. My mom doesn’t drive her car a lot (Lexus ES 350). The electronics are constantly draining her battery, even when the car just sits there. She tried to start her car to go shopping and got the dreaded “clicks of death” as that’s the only sound her car made instead of it’s usual happy engine sounds. I took her shopping in my car and hooked her car battery up to this great charger. I like the fact that I can choose the AMPS (I chose the lowest, 2A which would take the longest but she didn’t need the car right away). Fast forward to the next day and “bingo” the car started without a hitch. I’m going to put her car on a schedule to charge it every 4-5 months and she should be good to go for the foreseeable future.

The battery in our car conked out last week, and I unfortunately didn’t have a charger on hand. I picked up a little trickle charger shortly thereafter, but then decided to order this as well just in case I needed something with a little more zing.
This iSunergy charger is compact and easy to use. The majority of functions are automatic, and it’s compatible with lead acid and lithium/LiFePO4 batteries (though the manual recommends using a BMS board for lithium batteries). Virtually all you need to do is select the desired amperage, and it will handle the rest for you. The LED screen is clear and easy to read, and the unit has a number of protections built-in (such as over-voltage, reverse polarity, etc). The power cable is longer than expected (appx. 10’), and both it and the leads can easily be unplugged when necessary.
The only concern I have is the plastic construction. It’s acceptable, but the ABS material is quite thin and will bend under your fingers when squeezed. It’s not a dealbreaker for me, but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Pros:
-Easy to use; just select your charge level and everything else is automatic
-Compatible with lead acid and lithium/LiFePO4 batteries (manual recommends using a BMS board for lithium batteries)

At $72.99 I think this is quite reasonably priced. You can find a number of similar chargers selling for less on Amazon, however, so it might be worth doing a little comparison shopping before buying.

I used this to charge up the battery on my truck when it died recently. It worked and got it started so I could get to the store for a new battery. It only sat on the charger for about 20 mins. It is easy to use and seems to be well made with an easy to read display.
