While in repair mode, this shows on the screen but nowhere in the 2-page documentation does it say what that means. After some googling, this apparently is short for “Pulse”, which is the method used in repair mode.
The charger has also displayed an “E-1” error(with beeps) but it is not explained. After some googling, other chargers say this means ‘over-discharged’. I’m guessing it’s the same because this same battery will not take a charge(hence the repair above).
Otherwise it does charge batteries fine. Just wish it was better documented, especially for such a simple device.

Works very well for our cars battery with no problems, and is a life saver, so glad it comes with instructions manual book as well telling you how to use it properly step by step!

I bought this specifically for one pair of 24v batteries. I had it on them for a few weeks when first purchased, and went to use the machine and batteries were nearly dead. I figured it must not have had a good connection.
I left it on again over winter, and the screen said full(now faint and barely legible). Disconnected and have only 7 volts in 24v batteries.

This machine will charge your battery but will not maintain it. If you leave it hooked up to the battery and you drain the battery it will NOT begin charging again. This can be both desirable or not depending on your application. To start charging again, the battery must be disconnected and reconnected. Otherwise it charges just fine. And for the price it’s about as low a cost as you will get.

I came back after a long trip abroad to a ‘dead’ 2016 Nissan Leaf. It turned out that the 12v accessory battery was fully spent and deader than a doorknob. I ordered this right away, based on the reviews. I could not have been happier. I hooked up the clamps to the battery (+) and (-) terminals, plugged the unit into a wall socket and the devise just automatically detected the battery type and proceeded to trickle charge the dead battery. I think it took about 6 hours (I am guessing because by the time I went out to my garage in the morning, the unit had automatically stopped charging and displayed a “FULL”.
When I first hooked it up to my battery, the indicator on the front flashed 25%. After an hour it was up to 50%; a few hours later, it was at 75%.
I am happy with this product because I hardly noticed it working. I needed a charger for my dead 12v battery, and this unit just went about its business without any fuss or hickups. Glad I bought this one.

Use it to charge my jet ski battery, works fine. Size is a compact so that I can put it beside the battery, power cable is a little bit short but I use extended power bar so that is okay to me, if the power cable longer that would be better.
