This little charger is helping keep my PowerStroke diesel alive. I’ve placed this in a dry area under the hood of my truck with the power cord just peeking up by the cowl. This way I can just plug in my truck when it’s going to sit, and the charger starts up and keeps the battery topped up.
I’m happy with this little device’s ability to keep a dual 850CC battery setup charged! Now I have less to worry about with small parasitic losses while I’m parked.
The charger autodetects the type of battery and starts doing it’s thing, I don’t have to touch it. The clamps are not the best but they do stay on the terminals, with the stock wiring still attached.

I bought this for my father in law for father’s day. We made a cool tool/emergency kit for him. He loved the size, he is getting older and is having trouble lifting things. Don’t worry him and the neighbor tested it and it worked great.

Our 2016 vehicle has a crazy battery problem, which is apparently a common problem for this model/year. The battery just randomly dies. Have tried a new battery and had the alternator checked. There is nothing wrong with those parts.
So, I keep this handy in the garage for the times that I head out for an appointment or what-have-you, and find a dead battery. It is a bit slow, but it does the job.

I use this when my battery needs a little bit of help in my project cars from sitting. This works pretty well, it just takes a while to do its thing, but it works. It’s small and doesn’t make much noise either. Quality is mid.

I have an electric scooter that I use for 95% of my travel needs around my village and along the rail-trail that connects it to the next town over.
Because it sits idle for weeks at a time, I use this trickle charger to keep my car’s battery ready to fire up that nasty old combustion engine when I have no other choice for longer-distances.
So far I’ve not had any issues. Battery continues to run strong as needed.
I Review Stuff –
I have to strongly recommend against this product. I have a lot of batteries and chargers and have the need to charge both 12 and 24 volt batteries. At first observation, this charger is not what I would consider high quality but battery charging isn’t rocket science so I had high hopes for it. It only has one button to cycle between different modes. The modes are Motorcycle/ATV, Automobile, AGM/Wet Cell, and Repair. They are pretty self explanatory. I started by connecting it to several batteries that had already recently been charged so I knew they wouldn’t take much to top off. As expected, the charger started up and the battery level indicator was near the top. The Amperage dropped down to about 1.4A indicating the battery was already almost full and after about 30 seconds, it went to FULL and shut off.
So far, so good. I then tried it with an AGM battery, a wet cell battery and received pretty much the same results. On the fourth battery I tested, it went straight to full without much analysis which I thought was strange. I then went to a battery I knew needed charging and it also went straight to full. I also was hearing a popping sound coming from the plug where I had it plugged in. It was obviously arcing and popping. I unplugged it and tried another battery that it had previously worked fine on and it was still arching. It is apparent that something failed within the 4-5 minutes I was testing it and now it was not happy at all.
I went ahead and tried it in another outlet and received the same result. I would not recommend this charger and believe if left alone and unattended it could present a major fire hazard. They should pull this product in my recommendation.

OK, it’s a battery charger and using it should be basic knowledge, like screwing in a light bulb. But this charger wants you to think there’s a lot going on, that it has features that make it superior in some way. And yet the packaged instruction manual, if you can call four tiny pages a manual, say absolutely nothing about it’s various usages. It mentions all the wonderful things it does, gives a basic list of safety cautions and explains nothing about how to use it. I ordered this for one specific reason, as a battery maintainer. The the Amazon description says it’s a maintainer, so does the box it comes in and ‘maintainer’ is listed as a function. But there’s nothing beyond that whatsoever. As a charger I’m pretty sure it’s plug and play, but I don’t want to charge a battery, I want to keep a healthy battery charged over several months of unused storage. There are devices that do just that, but I’m not convinced this is one of them. Batteries have become very expensive and overcharging a battery can destroy it. This thing claims to have a lot of ability and flexibility, but doesn’t bother to tell a user how to use them. Specifications are meaningly without understandable instructions and this charger comes with no instructions at all. Good luck

The auto charging is fine, but the impressive feature about this inexpensive charger is that it managed to desulfate and revive my car battery after several other chargers could not. I had a backup AGM car battery that was new but unused for a couple of years. I thought AGM batteries were able to hold their charge better so I did not routinely maintain this battery while it was stored. When it came time to install it, turned out it had sulfated and could not hold a charge. The battery kept going from full charge down to 8 v in a couple of days. My digital battery tester ruled it bad, below 20% of rated CCA and in need of replacement. I tried trickle charging, 10A charging, pulsing with 55A, auto charging — none of it helped. But this charger with its repair function over 24 hours managed to restore the battery to 78% of rated CCA with internal resistance below 4 and a “good” rating per my battery tester. (FYI, the display readout was “PUL” which stands for “pulse charging”. This readout was not listed in the owner’s manual with the other readout explanations.)
