They were fairly easy to install and they stop the car well. That said, it’s only an ’06 Corolla, not a race car, but they are certainly good enough for that vehicle. What I’m really impressed with is the price. I usually just change the rotors and pads, but in this case I needed to replace the calipers since one of the old ones was pretty bad and sticking. For the price, I feel like I might always replace the calipers on older cars since it makes the job so easy.

I used everything but the pads and shims. I already had some quality pads that were still recently new. This is a good deal. I bought this set because one of my calipers seized up and my rotors were warped. The shims were junk, they were not stamped correctly, (save your old ones). I heat cycled the rotors, and have been driving around on these for over a month. They brake fine, rotors are cut true, no shimmy shakes. If you need rotors with calipers definitely a good deal.

’06 Toyota Matrix XR. Fit right up with relatively no problems (once I found the right combination of wrenches & mallet to fit each side to get the leverage to remove the caliper bolts). Took my time and figured it out (used a little old brake fluid as rust release on the caliper bolts. Took a couple hours (since I’m older and wear bifocal glasses). They’ve been on the car for a month and no issues. I like the breaking power. Satisfied so far.

Our 15 year old Corolla stops like a new car now – smooth and quiet. The rotors, calipers, and pads were easy to install and braking is now back to the way it’s supposed to be – no more shaking or squealing.

High quality brake parts.
Once I cleared the rust from my vehicle and prepped the hub. The install went really fast.
It did NOT come with Caliper Cradle BOLTS
You have to refurbish the old ones or give buy new ones.
It did come with upper caliper to piston bolts.
PRO TIP: Before installing Banjo Bolt and crush washers to Caliper, crack open the bleeder bolt to relieve the air pressure while the caliper fills with fluid…. It makes bleeding them out 10x faster.
After install and bleed, my brake pedal was kinda squishy BUT I believe this has nothing to do with the Brake Parts kit but my car
I did 30,40,50, 60mph soft medium and full panic stop tests….
These brakes are PHENOMENAL
Super quiet, great stopping power, shortened distance
Now my 2 CONS:
I did not receive NEW crush washers in the parts bag
And

Everything fit like a glove as installation was a breeze. The rotors are quite high quality and the whole assembly is very quiet and smooth. This was for my sons car and I couldn’t be happier with the quality and value. Would definitely buy again and recommend to a friend.

After 140k miles my original calipers were rusted and not releasing properly. Although I could have gone longer on the existing pads and rotors, for the price of this kit it made sense to just replace everything at once. It even comes with new mounting brackets for the calipers!
Everything bolted up perfectly and the parts all appear to be of high quality. The braking was extremely smooth during the test drive after installation. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Installed on a 2005 Toyota Matrix with ease. Direct replacement application without having to modify anything. The drilled and vented rotors made a huge difference in stopping power. This set delivers a bang for your buck and I am glad I bought it. If you are looking to replace bad calipers or rotors buy this set and you will be happy that you did!
