This works great at getting the dust off of my car windows. I stopped using it on the paint because a detailer told me that despite the waxed tips, it leaves micro scratches from the dust moving along the paint. Make sure to shake off the dust after each swipe to minimize micro-scratches. The dash duster left some red fluff during the first few uses, but then that stopped happening.

I was skeptical at first, but I realized that most of the dirt in California is caused by dust. Using this product significantly extends the period between washes. If I use it at least every four days, it keeps my car looking shiny for a long time. While pollen and water spots can affect the wash schedule, this product has helped me save a lot on car wash costs!

I got one of these a while ago, and when I saw they had a price reduction, I got some more. These are great all around dusters, originally designed for people who show cars, to remove any dust that might settle on the car without damaging the paint or glass. Works GREAT for anything in storage that might get dust on it, or car/truck/tractor glass, to keep it clean. I have a carport where I park my old truck and it can get a lot of dust on the glass. This gets the dust off, without harming the glass. It only removes ‘dry’ dust, if the windshield was dusty, and then you got a heavy dew or light rain, it will not remove all of it. Most, but not all, there will still be a bit of residual dust/grime on the glass. To be fair, I don’t think anything ‘dry’ will remove that kind of dust without risk of scratching. Works amazingly well for its intended purpose. To clean, you just shake it or thump it on something to knock any loose dust out of it.
It is treated with something. so when you get it, open the package and let it ‘dry’ for a couple days before you use it or it can leave a little residue on the glass. 4 1/2 stars overall, but giving it 5 stars because it is the best of its kind that I have used.

I had one of these decades ago. Didn’t know they were still being manufactured until I found them here a few months ago. Ordered some – still the great product I remembered them to be. Does a great job removing that daily dust without scratching the paint. Use them on my car, boat, even the golf cart! Highly recommend!

Unlike the California dusters of old with the wax on the bristles , these are awesome. I have been using them for 20 years or 5 cars how ever you count. The dusters are exactly what you want them to be the small one does the dashboard with ease.
