I just put it in installing was easy. YouTube had directions. They seem to be made as well as the original ones I replaced

After getting a quote for $268 to change out the cabin filters and another $140 for the engine air filter, I immediately hopped online to see if I could do this myself for a lower cost. Absolutely! A few helpful you tube vids and these Dacall filters, and I was set up for success! Both filters were nearly identical to the OEM BMW filters pulled from my 2022 BMW X6 xDrive 40i. They installed easily and I have had no issues with them after install. The only very minor caveat, the engine air filter does smell a little funny and the felt/fiber liner was a 2-3 mm less thick than the OEM version. I would consider these again for DIY mechanics looking to save some serious money.

Here in the southeastern United States we have 5 seasons: Winter, Spring, Pollen, Summer, and Fall. Of course, I’m kidding but there is so much pollen falling from the trees this time of year as we head into spring it’s important to replace the cabin air filters on my car. The old ones are literally caked with yellow pollen. And I suppose the engine should have good clean air as well. This Dacall Cabin & Engine Air Filter Set is designed for the exact make and model of my car. Changing the filters out was a breeze. Highly recommended.

Very good quality filters. Both cabin filter and air intake filter are indistinguishable from OEM products.
The only problem I have with this set is strange bundling. These cabin filters are used on a wide variety of X5 vehicles, but the intake filter is only suitable for a few.
It would have been more logical to sell these separately.
Still, for the right velicle, this is a good product and it is very reasonably priced.
