I ordered these for my 2019 Honda Odyssey, and they fit perfectly. The engine air filter box under the hood has 3 metal clips (one hidden, facing the firewall) you have to snap off, then the cover lifts up without having to disconnect the pipe that has the mass air flow sensor in it, so it’s really easy to pull out the old filter and insert the new one. The orientation of the filter does matter, but you’ll see right away if you’ve got it rotated 180 degrees because it won’t drop down into the lower housing all the way.
The cabin air filter is behind the glovebox, but you don’t have to actually remove the glovebox to get to it. There’s a damper arm on the right side that you snap off, then press the top left and right edges of the glovebox towards the center to allow it to open past the normal stopping point and it will hang down out of the way. The filter is behind a rectangular plastic cover that has a latch on each side. You don’ t need any tools… just press the latches and pull the cover towards you. Pull out the old filter and slide in the new one, paying attention to the direction of the airflow (it flows from top to bottom).
Compared to several of my other cars, this is far and away the easiest and fastest one to swap out these two filters, with no tools required, so it’s a no brainer to do this yourself instead of paying dealer prices for the service. These filters appear to be very well made, and they fit perfectly without any pushing or bending them. They are a great value!
