This review is for the cabin and engine filter set for a Toyota Highlander. I think it’s great that both filters are packaged together as they should be changed frequently.
First, the engine air filter was of decent quality. What I noticed is that the pleats seem to be at a tighter spacing than the one I was replacing. Not sure if this is better or more restrictive. The other after market filter I was replacing had a metal mesh on the upper side that this one did not. It was also thicker than this filter by about a centimeter. This filter had a strip of glue on the engine side of the filter that kept the pleats spacing. I’m not sure why it’s needed other than if the pleats would be flimsy without it. The engine air filter fit perfectly in the Highlander’s filter housing and it had no problem closing and securing. From what I could tell the seal was tight. Time will tell on the function of the filter.
The cabin air filter also fit perfectly in the housing unit located behind the glovebox. The only comment on the comparison to the old one is that the two edges of this filter seemed flimsier than the old one. I don’t think it matters as it sits in a plastic holder for the Highlander. One caution is that the OEM filter and housing only has arrows for “UP”. This does not represent the direction of air flow, which is opposite of the “UP” arrow that Toyota uses. This filter has arrows for both UP and Air Flow. So be careful and double check yourself.
This filter set is a great value as we were quoted $140 by the local dealer to for them to change these filters. Instead I did it in 5 minutes with this set at a low fraction of that cost.
Giving 4 stars as the other engined air filter I had seemed a lot sturdier and deeper than this one. But I’m not sure if it’s needed or not.

Great filters. They fit perfectly in my 2023 Rav 4. Easy to replace and seem to be similar if not better quality that the filters that came with the vehicle.

I’m giving this filter set five stars for the value it represents compared to OEM. Are they as good quality as OEM? Not quite. However, they DO fit perfectly (at least they did in my 2018 Camry SE) and you can do three full swap-outs of these filters (yourself) for the price of what a single OEM filter set would cost you to get installed. On a straight dollar-for-dollar comparison of the filters alone, these are about half of what an OEM filter set costs. That’s value, as you’re talking about a formed piece of material designed to capture air contaminants. As has been pointed out, be mindful of the arrow direction on the cabin filter. It should point in the opposite direction (which is really down) as the filter tray’s arrow, which points up (and indeed says “UP”). Highly recommended at five stars.

This cabin filter and engine filter were both a perfect replacement for my OEM filters. The cabin one had an arrow telling me direction of airflow, and both filters seemed very high quality. I have no complaints. But why red? 😉

The engine air filter fits in our RX350 perfectly. The process is quite easy and save big money than letting the dealership service centers to replace them.

These are just like OEM filters or other that I purchased at Advance Auto Parts or like stores. They fit perfectly and the cabin filter in particular was replaced with this since car was previously smoked in. After cleaning the car and AC coils, the smoke smell is completely gone. Great price point and worth the money.

I installed this engine and cabin air filter set in my 2020 Toyota Camry (gas model) and it worked perfectly. Both filters fit like OEM parts and were super easy to install. The air filter looks durable and well-made, and the cabin filter is already helping reduce dust and improve airflow inside the car.
It’s a great alternative to dealership pricing — same performance, way less cost. Just be sure to double-check that your vehicle isn’t a hybrid, as these filters are specifically for gas models only.
