This fit my car perfectly! After searching and searching forever for a shift cable, I had lost hope. Then this beautiful product came up for me. Came in the mail very fast and it fit perfectly on the shift cable. There isn’t even any slop in the shifting as well. This product gets a 10/10 from me.

These bushings looked great. Perhaps stiffer than stock. If you can remove the old bushings, I believe this kit would squeeze in just fine. I never got the chance to try these, as my shift cable bushing end snapped clean off the steel rod. Ended up returning them same day. Ordered genuine cables elsewhere. Free drop off at ups store, no package required. Refund hit the bank 1-2 days later. 4of5 overall.

I run a garage in Loughborough and we decided to try this repair kit on a Fiat 500 really easy to use we removed the battery and tray undo the 10mm lock nut and remove the cable end we got a knife and removed the old rubber and gently pressed the bush in with a vice and that was it fixed normally we replace the cables

The bushings on my 06 Mini Cooper finally gave out. Called the dealership parts department and they assured me the replacement bushings would arrive 2 days later. Drove over an hour to get the new bushings. Dealership (ie the “experts”) had the wrong bushings. They had the clutch bushings. Part tech pulled up the parts diagram and they don’t even sell replacement bushings, you have to order the whole linkage. Dealership wanted almost $400 for the set!
I found bushingfix.com and called right away. I needed my Cooper on the road asap and I wanted to see about overnight shipping and make sure I get the right part. Their customer service gave me the correct part number and said my best bet was to order from Amazon as the part was $10 cheaper than on bushingfix.com and the part could get to fast.
Part arrived in 2 days, was a PERFECT fit and only took about 10 minutes to install! Even if I have to replace these bushings 5 times, I am still out less money than the entire linkage. I won’t have to though, these bushings are made from some solid material that will last a long time!

My FIAT 500 Pop shifting went for the 3rd time. I decided I had nothing to lose and a chance to save a lot of money (hundreds) by trying to fix myself. Removing the Battery, the battery tray was a lot easier than I thought, especially since the last mechanics already disconnected some of the clips for the wires. With that stuff out of the way, its surprising how much access I had! The hardest part was removing the old bushing. The green cable end is NOT metal, and the rubber bushing was a pain to remove. But a little heat from my hair dryer and the bushing left on the pivot pin (where the orange bushing fix piece goes) came right off. On my car it was easy to put back together, and everything worked fine afterwards, no adjustments needed. How long it will last? Hopefully a lot longer than the last garage mechanic repair!

Worked like a charm! Much cheaper then replacing shifter linkage. Note: it can be a pain to press it into the end of the linkage but once you get it in its not coming out! Would buy again in a heartbeat

Works perfectly 👌 on a Fiat 500 non Abarth!!!!!
The product is easy to install on cable end but the most difficult is to remove the original bushing. In my case the biggest cable end bushing was really hard to remove as it was still stuck inside. I had to use a “Dremel” tool with paper sand cylinder to get rid of the rubber.
This product made me save 450 $CA + tax and a lot of time because at the dealer they sell only the complete gear shifting cable kit!!!! You can’t buy just the cable end!!! What a pitty!

2002 Mini shifter cable, the bushing was just broken, we replaced it and it works well, easy to install.
