I live in a part of Oregon where rhe midgees are horrible. This little bottle is easy to carry and bug slide works just as good on my helmet visor as the rest of the bike.

This is a nice size to store in a tour pack or a saddle bag when travelling. Doesn’t take up much space, and no need for water.
Suzant Shrestha –
cleans bugs off as advertised. i wiped my visor down with water only before and having this bad boy is a huge noticeable difference. small size fits in storage compartment of my sport bike.
john koshelko –
Works well
Chris Miracle –
I was a little hesitant about this but I was going on a 9 day trip and wanted something to keep the bike looking good and not mark up the black paint. I was extremely pleased with how well it worked and cleaned my bike. I will definitely buy this again!

I was looking for something that would help keep my windscreen clean and make it easy to to clean. I did a lot of forum searching and Googling and there were some comments about BugSlide. It is advertised as a “Cleaner, Polish, and bug remover with Attitude. Well after my last 500+ mile ride, needless to say my windscreen was covered in bug splat with lots of those little buggers still stuck intact all over; it wasn’t pretty. Being that I ride the bike to work, I didn’t feel like washing the bike and so the bug guts started to get baked on having been on there for more than a week. I ordered the “travel pack” which comes with a 4oz pump bottle and a good sized microfiber cloth. I figured the travel pack was the least expensive, and would back nice on my up coming trip. Well lets give it a try. The directions say to spray on the cloth and wipe. Well, I sprayed directly on the screen in some quick sprays. Let it set for a couple of seconds and started wiping. Well the bug crud started coming right off. Some of the really baked on stuff, the now two week old stuff, took a couple of direct shots and a little more elbow grease, but it came right off. Wow, I can see through it again. So rode it to work for another week and I decided to wash the bike. Water did not stick to the screen, it shed the water like a good wax should. There was some more bug stuff that I missed the first time, first time was in a poorly lit garage, and the soap didn’t get either. I shot it again with BugSlide, and it came right off.
Now we will see how it works on the trip, and hopefully the bug stuff will just slide off as the name implies, but I know there is no magical elixir that will repel bugs, but this surely makes taking them off a lot easier. We shall see in the log run.
