The quality of this seems as if though it’ll last forever. The plastic base is very heavy which good quality casters that insert easily but fit snug. There’s 3 wing bolts to hold the bucket in place as well which screw in easy enough. I look forward to using this when the weather warms up, but you can already see that the quality is very good.

I ordered this thing to help me roll around giant water bottles for watering my plants, but haven’t been able to use it for that yet. I’m actually really excited to get to use this to wash my car. There’s nothing like a scrawnly old lady lugging a splashy bucket of water around the driveway. That’s a wet t-shirt contest no one wants to see! lol. Anyways…………
The whole thing feels super durable. The red insert is meant to separate the dirt & debris from the water so you don’t end up washing your car with little bits of dirt & gravel that could scratch the paint. It took me a few minutes to figure this out, go figure.

This isn’t the first setup like this I’ve acquired – they really do work! Ideally you want one for the rinse bucket and one for the soap bucket, and you’ll notice immediately how much debris it actually traps. Having the casters for the buckets is a luxury I didn’t know I needed, and this base and casters seems well built and up to the challenge. The scrubber is odd, I would use it on tires but probably not much else. Get a nice chamois and microfiber towel, and some kind of soap foamer to round out the setup. I’d recommend this all day, in addition to the things I listed, and your paint will look nice for a long time.

This is a nice simple bucket dolly. Fits my 5 gallon buckets well, and the wheels roll around on my slightly uneven garage floor easily. Nice that it has locking wheels for my sloped driveway too. The sponge is absolutely worthless, it doesn’t hold any water and I wouldn’t recommend using it on any part of your car. I only received one “brush” even though the listing shows two. The bucket insert is nice, to keep the sand and other junk out of the cleaning water.

If you search “bucket dolly”, you will be overwhelmed with the options and the price range. This item works well and does not try to do too much, like storage compartments, etc. It fits standard buckets from 2.5 to 5 gallons and makes it so you don’t have to carry the bucket around as you clean you car. It rolls well and keeps the bucket well planted, so it doesn’t tip.

This bucket dolly has been a great addition to the shop and household. I’m really impressed by its overall construction, and it’s proven its worth many times over already.
The general design is simple and effective: the rolling base fits a standard 5-gallon bucket and holds it in place via a trio of beefy wing nuts. The base is a molded ABS, and I must emphasize the rugged nature of the design: it is THICK and heavy for what it is, and definitely up to the task of being rolled about with a loaded bucket. The five casters on the bottom are sturdy and definitely overrated for anything you’ll put on the top.
The bucket insert does a great job of sieving dirt and particles from clean water as well…it’s rather surprising to see how much debris settles out in the bottom after a cleaning job. The legs on the insert are also an inch or so longer, so you have plenty of space for debris to collect before it backs up into the cleaner water on top. The whole set also came with a fresh sponge, which is always a nice gesture!
All in all, the overall sturdiness, weight, and construction of this dolly are what really set it apart and make it worth its price. It keeps your bucket firmly in place, helps you roll it around with ease, keeps your wash water cleaner, and it looks to be made to stand up to some decent abuse. I’d say this is a winner!
