exactly what i needed to fix the upgraded black rubber air brake hoses on my class 8 truck. this will save money from having to replace an entire hose when ( not if ) that pin hole develops at the glad hand.
this fits the black hose with a 3/8″ inside diameter hose, will not work on the coiled plastic hoses. those are much narrower diameter. in the photos i included, you can see where i fit the repair adapter on the cut off end of my emergency hose. i cut it back far enough to actually test the replacement adapter i would eventually order. this kit worked perfectly. the kit comes with two complete adapters, and 2 additional internal brass compression collars. this would be the part you would actually replace if you have to make subsequent repairs, as once compressed, its done.

The product is very good, but the size is too big for me. If it can be changed for a smaller size, it would be 1/4, that would work for me.

Placed on the truck as a spare part, when engaged in dock container pickup work, there may sometimes be problems with pipe leakage or breakage. In order not to affect work efficiency, this part is kept as a spare!
