The install was different then I have done in the past, although with a second set of hands it went easy and they hold the hood up. I would recommend the product.

Fits my 2003 Mercury Mountaineer. Perfect fit and easy to install – just snap them on over the ball socket – the old ones were a bit difficult to remove, may have to use a little spray lube.
