Amazon Customer –
When I took my car to Autozone and they indicated my 02 sensor had gone bad (2004 Honda Civic LX) I panicked in a major way. After talking to a co-worker, he advised this was a repair we could do ourselves. After getting the part from Amazon, I rented a special wrench from Autozone (which is free, you just leave a deposit which is 100% refunded when you return it), and then I drove the car for 20 minutes (so the engine would expand a little from the heat. At that point we popped the hood, unhooked and unscrewed the old one, popped this in, and 5 miles later, the light was off and all was good.
If you can change a fuse, you can do this repair at home. The whole thing took about 2 minutes to do, and the only tool needed was the abovementioned wrench. 2 twists and done, saved me a $500 bill from the dealer.

I was concerned before purchasing this because it seemed too Good to be true, was less than half the price of buying it anywhere else. I was quite familiar with Bosch products by that time, so I even knew how it should arrive packaged – if it were actually as advertised. Well, guess what: it did. It came in the Bosch box. And the sensor not only had the usual Bosch plastic cap on it to protect the end, it also had the special anti-seize lubricant on the threads that Bosch uses. It fit perfectly. And it has performed perfectly. I am extremely satisfied. You’re crazy if you purchase this product anywhere else.

If I knew it was coming from California, I would not have bought it. Item was good once it got here.

Used this part to replace my 2005 Honda Civic DX-VP D17A1 O2 upstream O2 sensor to replace a defective DENSO 192400-1160 – and it worked flawlessly. It has the anti-seize lubricant pre-applied which is a nice touch, and it has the protective boot and a better heat shield than the factory part. Have driven 50+ miles and no check engine light. I tried the cheaper DENSO version of this and it didn’t work and was even worse, for those considering something cheaper.

Needed a new O2 sensor when the upstream sensor heater went bad in my 2005 honda civic VP with D17A1 engine. Found this Bosch part here on amazon, but was confused at the price. Everywhere else it is double. Could they be substituting narrow band sensor for wide band? I decided it was worth the risk. After a month of driving, the check engine light has remained off, and the MPG is as good as when new. No reason to believe this isn’t the real deal. Helpful hint: I used DP Blaster penetrating oil over the course of 2 weeks to free up the old part. Sensor came out with little resistance.
edit: price has gone up since purchase.

Bough from Amazon (not other vendors). Be careful when you buy those items online. Choose only reputable vendors. Fit well to Honda Civic 2005 Value package. Sign P135 disappeared. Hoping it stands for a long time. Made in Japan.

Well if you know what you need for your car then it works fine. I had this product code research properly before working, this is a primary oxygen sensor for Honda Civic hybrid 1.3L engine(first gen civic hybrid) you need not pay 220$ at Honda instead use this as replacement. I had multiple codes in my car also Krikland land Honda diagnosed it as IMA battery fail along with this primary O2 sensor, I was doubtful about the analysis and I started replacing this primary sensor, it’s 4 weeks now replacement and no IMA battery replacement. I have already 1500miles done. No issues found.

Sensor fit, but if you are buying it for a 2004 honda civic ex with the 1.7l be aware the wire is going to be about a half a foot to short so you will have to add wiring to make it reach the connector.

I was going to get the OEM Denso air/fuel sensor for two hundred and change, saw this unit, great savings and is working fine at this time
