Mine fit neatly in my 2012 Dodge Journey. Obviously flows much better than the old filter and still good after 5000 miles. Construction appears good, and the two layer element keeps most everything out of the cabin, especially gravel dust.
I purchased my filter at the same time frame as the individual who had poor luck fitting it in a Jeep Compass. Sometimes leaves, pine needles or even a mouse nest can get stuck on the dirty side of the filter. When you remove the old filter the debris can fall in the filter track and prevent the new filter from installing correctly. Check your filter housing with a flashlight and vacuum before inserting new filter. Something to keep in mind.

I am the original owner of a 2011 Dodge Caliber. Over time I noticed degradation of the heating and cooling system. Both worked, but very little air flow. I didn’t know there was a cabin filter, let alone how to replace it. I went to “youtube university” and found out how to do it. It was easy and the air system worked like new! 2014 jeep compass limited. Minus one star because the box was torn up. Minus one star because it does not fit properly. It is wider than the OEM by 1/4 inch so i had to scrunch it in to fit. Because i scrunched it, now it doesnt sit perfectly level in its holder, exposing gaps around the housing and edges of the filter. Plus side… No smell. Next time ill pay a bit extra to have a proper fit.

Fits well in a 2010 Dodge Caliber. Can be a little bit of a challenge to replace due to the design of the glove box, and the included instructions aren’t good. Here’s how to change the filter:
The filter is located in a slot behind the glove box. To replace it, you need to lower the glove box out of the way.
Open the glove box and empty it. Then, squeeze in the sides of the glove box (forcefully), and you’ll see the detent tabs that only allow the glove box to open it’s normal amount. You need to get those detent tabs past the trim surrounding the glove box so it can be lowered all the way. Doing one side at a time seems to work best.
Once the tabs clear the frame, the whole glove box can be lowered all the way down and out of the way. However, don’t lower the box all the way yet! Look inside the glove box at the right side…you’ll see a keyhole slot with a peg in it. That’s where the dampening mechanism attaches to the glove box. Slide the peg out of the keyhole slot to free the dampener from the glove box. Now you can lower the glove box, remove the plastic cover for the filter slot (by squeezing the tabs on each end), and replace the filter. When putting things back together, grab hold of the end of the dampener and raise up the glove box until you can slide that peg back into the keyhole slot. Once that’s done, push in on the sides of the glove box and close it all the way. Job done!
