These are good filters, especially for the price of about $5.00 in August 2024. 35 years ago in the old days, a standard oil filter was 3 bucks, so these seem like a good price today.

This filter was described as a fit for my 1972 Skylark with a 350 cu.in. 2 Bbl. The gasket does line up with the receiver base on the engine and the filter will work, however its overall size is much smaller than the original PF 24 filter. The picture in the description is a somewhat deceiving. I didn’t end up using it and found an exact replacement.

I use these instead of the “new and shrunk” ac delco filters because this one is approx 1/3 longer. The ACDs used to be bigger too which means more filtering media. Now for some reason they want me to run a lil bitty filter on a 6.0L motor. So I cross referenced this larger Bosch equivalent.
