Ease of install, price is fair and the product filters dirt the best of any product that I’ve seen

Has been one of the top rated oil filters for years. Just about everybody includes them in their top 5-10 filter reviews. I started using some of the best oil filters when I started using full synthetic oils around 12 years ago. They keep the the oil noticeably cleaner for several thousand miles longer. I am 72 and do not drive enough to justify the higher price for the best filters. I do want one that is highly rated for 10,000 miles. I am down to changing oil and filter twice a year with around 5000-6000 miles. I have been driving for 54 years and most of that time have been a do it your self mechanic for oil changes, etc. Never had an engine problem. That includes several of 100,000 -200,000 of my miles + whatever they had when I got them.

Perfect git

The louvers inside the filter were barely open. This would have restricted oil flow and caused the filter to bypass and let oil into the engine unfiltered. Did not take a chance with this filter and returned . Make sure you can clearly see the louvers open before installing.

For years, I’ve considered Bosch oil filters to be as-heads-as-tails the Gold Standard. Are there other filters that cost more? Of course there are. Are there others that may last longer? Possibly, but I change oil and filters on a routine schedule anyway. Perfect fit, excellent design and quality, every time. Like the title says, it’s hard to beat a Bosch filter.

I go between Bosch & Motorcraft oil filters for my ’22 Edge ST AWD. Both filters are excellent an offer high efficiency w/20 micron filtering capacity. It doesn’t get any better than that! As long as you don’t go “over” 7500mis w/any full- synthetic oil either works great. Have had oil analysis done in past (Blackstone labs) an always looked very good. I use Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic oil in all my vehicles.
Exactly what I wanted. –
Good fit. Appears to be working.

Works fine

I use an automotive type of filter in my 2005 MTD 46″ mower with a 21HP Breaks & Scrap-them engine. I prefer using this type of filter vs the “recommended” PUNY OVERPRICED filter from Briggs. This filter holds WAY more oil and sticks out further in the air stream, both good reasons for engine longevity! I have been doing this for almost 20 yrs, with NO (NADA) engine problems! I happen to pick the BOSCH filter because of a YouTube recommendation AND because it is CHEAPER than the Breaks & Scrap- them filter!
