I tried a cheaper one and it didn’t work. Oem is the way to go. The first one I got of these Bosch o2 sensors was actually defective. Not only did it not fix anything it set off a code for the other side because I swapped it with the good sensor I had to make sure it was a defective sensor and not some other problem. Amazon was quick to get a new one sent and the new one worked great. No more o2 codes.

Our mechanic recommended that we replace our O2 sensors due to the age of our Discovery and a recent drop in gas mileage.
Parts arrived promptly and were more cost effective than buying from a dealer.
Items worked, no more warning signals, and gas mileage instantly improved.
Rock Doc 2 –
Exact fit, exact specs for engine specified. No problem and order was correctly filled and promptly shipped. Biggest issue was the USPS made a mess of the packaging having lost the package in the snow for three days, then stuck it in my PO Box wet. Parts were OK however. I recommend if you are buying these parts that you cross reference the Bosch catalog, there are several models of O2 sensors specified for this particular vehicle and engine. It can be quite confusing to be certain you are ordering the correct parts.

this is a direct, factory replacement. I had no issues with the new sensor. Don’t waste the money on cheap, aftermarket imitations on the Land Rover Discovery. The Bosch ECU will not play nicely with any of the aftermarket sensors. You will continue having problems unless you get the original Bosch replacement parts that the vehicle came with.

The sensors I purchased Have a one years warranty , both sensors failed after sir months. I’ve attempted to got them replaced Burke cannot seem to got anyway cooperation front seller
