If you have an old BMW, buy this part and replace it. Otherwise you will be without a working throttle one day when the cable pops off under the dash. Fixed my issue.

Worked like it should, original grommet dry rotted and fell out while driving.

The throttle cable came disconnected from my gas pedal on my 2000 BMW Z-3. The old grommet had broken down and fell out. I temporarily fixed it with a tie wrap, but wanted to repair it properly. Shipping was fast and it actually took me longer to undo my temporary “fix” than it did to install the new grommet and re-attach the cable.
