Fits well and dresses up the engine compartment a bit.
the tricky part about checking the NAG-1 fluid is the temperature of the fluid. It is kind of a guess if you don’t know the exact fluid temp.
I guess if you check it after a long ride, you know it is up to the “hot” marking. Internet forums are evenly divided on the accuracy vs the factory tool.

love being able to check my tranny fluid instead of bringing it to a dealer. fits in perfect, nice and snug and gives an accurate reading

Nice aluminum head with wire stick. Hard to read the marked part, would be easier to read a different color then black! Bit overpriced (@99.71.) would be great if it was 20 less! Bit hard to get to turn/lock at times. I put a lil dab of oil on it and still couldn’t take it off, and had to use pliers to pull it off, thought I was going to break the whole tube to get it out last time! Doesn’t fit right, won’t go back in my engine now…

Just what every guy or gal needs that has a Chrysler with a HEMI …was surprised when checking the oil and washer fluid a couple of weeks ago there was just this annoying cap on dip stick tube that said FOR DEALER USE ONLY …called dealer and can understand they want to make sure you only add OEM fluid as not to void warranty … heck all I wanted to do was check my fluid level and they wanted me to make an appointment to come in and charge me $49.50 …no way … fit perfectly and if and when I need to add proper OEM fluid I will do it myself … highly recommend and everyone should own a HEMI at least once if or not more times in their life.

Alls I can say is I have owned my 05 Magnum for a while now. Never being able to check all my fluids drives me nuts. I understand to check this properly you need a starscan for temps and the miller tool for dipstick measurements. This has a cold spot for fluid and a hot spot. You can also finally get a look at your fluid to check its color. I give it 4 for being there. I have. Total accuracy on the levels I cannot say for sure. I do have the 5.7 version. Take note what you are buying though. These are made for the different motors offered by chrysler.

IF I can get this damn thing OUT of my transmission and tube, I’m going to return it. It simply wont come out. 2007 Dodge Charger Pursuit (police) version w/Hemi 5.7 and NAG1 Automatic Transmission.
In addition to it NOT COMING OUT, it makes my fluid level sensor go on and off randomly, depending on whether I’m accelerating or decelerating. This was a tremendously disappointing product. If I cannot get it out, I’m going after the manufacturer for such a faulty product.

Great product! Nice to know the fluid level without having to go to the dealer…Due to it’s “newness” the knob was a bit stiff to fully insert in the fill tube where it would lock in place, even with lubricating the “O” ring on the knob. I found I had to tap it with the heel of my hand to fully install it then it would turn the 90 degrees to lock.
