I used this to touch up some curb scratches on my rims. It works okay, but not great. I’ve had it on them for a few months and it’s pretty obvious where it was touched up in some places, and in other places it seems to have come off. I will say it does match my rim color well.
When I applied it I was surprised by how runny the paint was and a little difficult to control coverage, even when applying just a little at a time. The directions do say it can be used as a paint touch up, but I don’t think it did a good enough job on my rims to trust it with my paint job. I’ll continue using it for now until I find something better in the future.

It doesn’t match tesla wheel color. Don’t but this. They mentioned it matches perfectly to the wheel color, it doesn’t.

I bought a Mini Cooper S with black rims a few years ago. Early on, when I was still getting used to it, I scraped the passenger side. When the paint gets scraped on black rims, it shows silver metal underneath. I’ve lived with the scratches for a while but when I saw this auto touch up paint marker I jumped on it.
It’s a rattle marker you have to shake for a few minutes to make sure the solvent and pigment are mixed properly. If you are used to spray paint cans this will be familiar. Pull the cap off and apply the paint to the rims the same way you would with any marker. Press firmly into the scrape so the fluid leaks into any deep scratches and leave it to dry. I would recommend doing it in layers. Coverage is pretty good and I can’t see the scrapes unless I get up real close.
It’s a cheap and easy cosmetic fix that looks good. I recommend it.

I have a Tesla 3 with black rims. I managed to scrape each rim over the last several months. I bought this paint and applied it and the rims looks great. It was easy to use. It should be noted that the paint will run once applied so be careful you don’t apply too much off it it’s brush. Well priced and quick delivery. I do recommend.

Not sure if I received the right product. The tube doesn’t match the image on the page. The instructions could use an English speaking proofreader.
I used it to touch up my black 20″ induction Tesla rim after sanding, some Bondo glazing & spot putty, and some more graduated sanding/clean up.
It goes on thick and dries a little too quickly. I had to put it back in and close the tube between brush strokes. The color is good, especially after it dried and I sealed it with Clear Satin Enamel Rustoleum in light sweeps(made sure to tape up old paper on the tire & in the rim, and a put up a cardboard diy shield to prevent overspray).
As far as this product is concerned, it did the job. There might be better out there, but it worked and I’m keeping it around in case there’s a next time.

I was very upset when I scratched a rim on my 2023 MYL. I was a bit skeptical about this product but figured it could not look any worse than it did.
The instructions provided are not very helpful for wheel repair and more for car scratch repair. I did try the paint on a piece of paper and put it next to my rim; the color and finish seemed to match my 20″ Induction wheels. I looked up the instructions from similar products on Amazon. I taped off the area and lightly sanded it before painting it. I waited until it dried, remove the tape and did a second coat of paint.
As you can see on the picture, it’s not perfect and if you look closely you can see the scratch. But from a distance it is not very noticeable. Overall, this product was an expensive and worked really well.

Unless you pay hundreds at a body shop, this is the cheapest and easiest way to fix curb rash on your wheels. Using this repair “pen” (it’s actually a little paintbrush inside a well of paint) is just like painting a plastic model. Lightly clean and sand your curb rash with very fine sandpaper and also lightly brush this paint on. But be careful, this paint is super strong. I got some on my hands, which wouldn’t wash off with soap and water but came off easily with an alcohol pad. However, it was impossible to remove from my driveway even with generous amounts of alcohol and rubbing. Back to the product… it matches the color of my 20″ Induction wheels, which is good enough for passing glances at the wheel, but there is no way the paint will perfectly fill in the rashes. Overall, this pen is an affordable fix until the next curb rash.
