Cannot believe the low price,these replaced my Rubicon nitro express shock,these are top notch!way better ride and performance and I’m lifted 4″!! Bilstein is great,so glad I put these on.

Once again Bilstein takes a buckboard ride and makes it asphalt smooth even on a rough road. Replaced a competiton style shock on an 01 Cherokee Limited that has a 4 inch lift and 305/70/16 E load rated tires. Still handles well off road but makes the Jeep so much more pleasurable to drive on pavement. This is my third set on as many rigs and will be my go to shock on any future 4×4 rig. Reasonably priced and always fits the selected application.

These things are awesome. Thing Jeep has been a work in progress (the leaks are next on the list to fix) haha. These took about an hour to install and man! What a difference. This grand Cherokee is on a 4.5 inch lift and gives my tires way more flex. I have almost no body roll around hard cornering now, and hit a speed bump in the neighborhood at 30 mph just to see if they could handle it. These shocks have no problems being abused and will ride smooth the whole time.

98 Jeep XJ with 3″ lift. These shocks are superb and really swallow up road imperfections, especially with new coils also recently installed. Billstein shocks are the best shocks I have ever used on my Jeeps over the years, and I have owned dozens of different kinds and brands. These are no exception and they’re not made in China, which is a plus in my opinion.

These are 80mm longer than standard centre of eye to eye. They do not come with nuts and bolts and you cannot use the std ones either, so you need to buy these separately at a hardware store. Bolts up nice, but the sheath gets squashed quite a bit. I have a 55mm lift, I think these would be better at the 3″-4″ lift level myself.

I don’t know why it took me so long to buy a set of Bilsteins for my WJ, maybe because I thought they were for wheeling or for 4″ lifts and higher. The MX-6’s I ran were a nice shock but then I paid for 6 adjustments for firmness and hardly ever changed beyond setting the fronts at 4 and the rear shocks at 2). These Bilsteins really made the ride quieter and are firmer but in a good way – solid. I do not have long arms installed; the Grand Cherokee only has adjustable short arms on front and rear yet rides nicely.
