Works very well so far. Appreciate that both the USB ports and cigarette port on the device itself are pass through and don’t require it to be on in order to work properly. The only cons are that it doesn’t fit my cup holder perfectly, and tends to wobble around when turning or doing anything that puts intertia on it. I had to jam some paper around the sides in order to stop that. Additionally, my car is a stick shift and changing gears has almost caused the top of the lid to be hit when open. Having a lid that slid down to be flush with the back would be extremely nice. That said, my vehicle is extremely old, and its understandable that it might not fit perfectly, as sizes and standards of this vs have obviously changed. Just my thoughts on the experience I’ve had. Also, I do like that the plug can be removed from the device itself, in case it ever becomes damaged, or I wish to attach it to something besides a cigarette lighter

Amazing product! Do what it is supposed to do. Decent speed charge time (cause sometimes some devices claim to have 2.1 amps but it’s more 500 mA) 😛 I didn’t try the 2.4 amps usb plug cause I have nothing that is compatible. I really enjoy this device but it could use come improvements. The two A/C outlets are too close from each other to be really useful. I suggest you put some decent space so we can use the 2 sockets at once.
Well, this thing has a cup shape but since usually the 9V outlet is just in front of the car cup, then you just can’t put the device in front of the 9V plug. So you basically lose a cup place. That happens in my car so I had to improvise. That would have been nice a 90 degrees 9V adapter for people like myself.
This being said, outside these few “inconveniences” the device look neet and reliable. Only time will tell now.

This works as it should, and I haven’t had any actual problems, but I’m conflicted on the fact that the power cord is removable and the flip top has already broken off. It’s pretty quiet, and I haven’t had issues using it in general, it seems to work okay, the power capacity is sufficient for my needs. My device charge quickly enough. It fits in standard cupholders, so that’s a bonus. But it’s not *great*.

Update:
Dec 2024 (more than 2 years now): The device is still working well. The main problem before was voltage drop when car was put in drive mode. To make this work, I have to use a victron 12v to 12v DC converter to provide stable input voltage for the Bestek inverter.
Old review: I have this for about 1.5 year now.
In the beginning, it works fine. After a year or so, the fan starts kicking and creates loud noise whenever I turn the car on. My devices draws about 100w.
After a long time of struggling, as of 2024-05-30, I finally find out this is the culprit that causes power problem to my devices (not my car cig socket, or the fuses, or the relays). The power keeps dropping to 0w and repeat every 3 seconds or so. This “phenomenon” only happens since last year and only when my devices draws more than 30w. I believe that after a long time , the inverter overheats and causes some internal failure.
Now, I need to find a more endurant inverter for continuous power draw.

Update: We have used this consistently over the last 4 years and are just now having to replace it. I cannot recommend this inverter enough. We are not replacing it with this exact same one, but we are staying within this same brand.
We have purchased several car inverter’s over the years and this has been the best, so far. I like how you can turn the inverter part off and just use it to charge cell phones or portable DVD’s, and I really love that you don’t hear it whine. We were able to charge a laptop, a 3DS, and a cell phone with no issues. We’ve only used it for one trip, so I don’t know how it will hold up in the long run, but so far, very pleased. Our only complaint is that it is great that it has 2 plugs, but power cords on kids electronics are too wide that only one thing could be plugged in at a time (minor issue). Great buy. Worth the $$!!

Worked great for a month or two, now is useless. Goes to red light every time it’s turned on and the power outlets don’t work. Save yourself money in the long term and buy a reputable brand.
Edit: Company reached out and provided a refund. They also asked a lot of question about how I was using it, presumably to try to improve their product. I appreciate that they care, and I also appreciate that they do stand behind their merchandise. Ultimately, it still broke but updating to 3 stars for the quality support and willingness to stand behind the product.
