These work great when you are going from open wires being pressure screwed onto battery posts. Makes for a great connection. Make sure you are looking at each terminal connect and use the correct one for the positive and negative posts. I would definitely recommend this kit.

These are better quality and more rugged than terminals. You could find at the auto parts store by leaps and bounds.
I’ve had these in use for over a year running 0/2 cables off the terminals, no issues. The vinyl covers are a little cheesy so I don’t use them.

Decently solid; nothing weak (unlike many other types) about these. Good design for adding stuff like a second ground strap to your sheet metal/block/somewhere, so go buy one right now! The post sizes are good the bolts are sturdy, and the lead (zinc?) is properly massive. I put a washer at the nut end of the clamping bolts because it looked like a spot for the nut to dig in a little too readily.
Fit well with corrosion washers too. Couldn’t get the plastic shields/covers to lie flat no matter what so at one point I ripped them both off. Check your hood clearance, especially if you have the wrong battery. Maybe five stars is proper. Maybe four.
One caution: The bolts appear to be stainless steel, which is great for corrosion but not sop great for electrical conductivity, and you only have a dozen bolts to use so be careful. Don’t count on these bolts to conduct electricity well at all; count on the block of lead. Rig the lugs so that the actual copper/tin material of the lug rings are squashed against the lead/zinc of these clamps or against another copper/tin ring adjacent.. That’s simple but actually important.

Great heavy duty replacements. Especially these diesels that are picky about ground connections. Great quality for the price. Only gave 4 stars due to me wishing they offered bigger copper end connections. They have 4 3/8 wish they had some 1/2

Other “heavy duty” battery terminals have cracked and failed over time, but these military spec parts really do hold up as promised. More importantly, all of your connections (positive or negative) are made on the side opposite of the clamping force, so you don’t wind up with that typical porcupine of ring terminals and wires seen on so many cars these days. You can remove the terminal from the battery and never mess with the added taps, making these clamps perfect in my book.
