Greater charging power and longer lasting.
With a Battery Tender on and a fully charged battery it took 3 minutes for the yellow charge light to come on. To charge the battery II had to disconnect the battery from the car. Apparently the computer needed more amps.

This is the third Granite unit of this type I have purchased and I’ve been VERY happy with each of my purchases. My first purchase was at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale about 10 years ago and it still works flawlessly. For my money, the units with digital display are the most convenient as I can use it to test or monitor battery voltage while the Granite charger is not charging or even plugged into an outlet. When charging, the display also indicates the amperage being delivered to the battery being charged. In my experience, these units will rescue a nearly discharged battery. Mine even rescued a completely discharged battery although I did connect a charged battery along with the Granite charger to recover that discharged battery. For my 15 car collection I simply rotate these Granite chargers to maintain and condition my batteries. I’d give it five stars because it is the most reliable…not to mention of the pulse conditioner.

While attending the Barrett-Jackson car auction in Scottsdale, We stopped at the booth where these battery chargers were being sold and demonstrated. The sales person explained how this brand of chargers is different than most chargers/maintainers and how it can restore life to older batteries. Between car batteries and mower batteries, I am careful to keep them charged over the winter and usually have to replace 1 or 2 a year. I had one of the mower batteries that would not charge with my regular charger and wanted to see if the new charger would actually revive the battery as the salesperson had promised. After one day of charging, the battery showed a full charge and actually started the mower. I had tried multiple chargers, so I was not expecting the new charger to perform so well. I also connected the new charger to a 6 Volt battery in one of my cars that showed a “full charge” on a different charger. The new charger indicated that the battery was not fully charged. After connecting the new charger to the 6 volt battery for a day, it was fully charged and the car turned over much faster. The new charger seems to actually fully charge the batteries and fix the sulfation problems on older batteries. The cost of the charger was already recovered by not needing to purchase a new battery for our mower. I plan on installing this charger on one of my classic cars to lengthen the battery life and insure that the car is ready to go when the weather gets nice again. This charger was everything they explained at the auction. I was surprised to have problems finding this charger without remembering the name, Battery Saver 3015-LCD 25 watt. Get one, you will be glad that you did.

I have 4 of them. They charge at 2 amps max so requires longer charge time. Ok if you forget snd leave it connected for long periods of time. Good price great value. 2 of mine I have had over 5 years. I recommend this product.

25 watt is only 2 amps (which takes forever)! Probably would have bought the 4 amp charger if I had known. I like the LCD display, the directions suck, and there is no way to know if it is cleaning the plates.

I have2 of these…..one is used on my golf cart and the other on my auto. They both have worked perfectly and are easy to connect. Highly recommended.

I will always buy Battery Saver products!!! I had a question and called them about a specific cable for my specific need and they sent me a cable at no cost. Plus, It worked my battery out and I went from 13.1 to about 13.6 volts and the charging logic holds it there. Great people working there!!! Kudos!!!

  8. EcoActive

This is a very high tech unit. Have an old Optima battery that runs my emergency power for aquarium to a sine wave inverter.
Initially the unit did top off the battery but then locked into what seems like a permanent 2amp charge? pretty sure the batter is due for replacement as many years old.
The only critical thing I would say is no ventilation and it gets too hot from no ventilation which dries out components in time.. So I added that and runs much cooler plus has to add more years for that.
Soon will purchase a new battery the thing will probably top off then.
