This bracket was a perfect drop-in replacement for the rusted out battery hold down on my 2007 Honda Civic Ex 1.8L. The top part of the bracket is painted metal, and the dimensions and materials appear to identically match the original OEM bracket. Bolts use standard 10 mm socket head, and everything fits!

The threads are M6 x 1.25, unfortunately this was not specified anywhere in the listing.
I had wanted wingnuts to secure the hold down, rather than the pictured hex nuts. I guessed that the threads would be M5 which was incorrect, so I ordered the wrong size wingnuts to pair with this. What was shipped to me actually included split lockwashers x2, flat washers x2, and wingnuts x2. It did not have the hex nuts as pictured.
Finish is black powdercoat, and steel is of adequate gauge.
I have not yet installed this in the 2008 Honda Civic but it appears to be the right size. The hardware looks like stainless so hopefully it will not rust as much as the factory hardware.
