This thing is a piece of crap. I do not recommend. Would work sometimes and then not work other times. Whole point is to stop battery drain and disconnect the battery but it only works 10 percent of the time.

Works great! Not only helped protect my truck against theft, but also solved the problem of a “vampire draw” on the battery if the vehicle is not run for a while.

After several months it’s still working as intended no shorts no issues… perfect.

I used this on a 2005 Colorado that has a discharge problem when it sits several days. So far, I haven’t had to use my battery charger since I installed this. It’s been about a month now in cold weather. Easy to install but make sure you have clearance on top the battery.
