If you don’t have Bluetooth in your car, then this speaker has everything for you. Handsfree calling, speaker, radio.. it has it all. Setup was super simple and didn’t take but 2 minutes. Easy fit under the visor. USB C charge for a fast charge. Comes with a charger and cable. Sound quality is alright but when you have no Bluetooth in your car, you can’t complain. Actually, you cannot go wrong with this speaker.

Arrived on time and well packaged, thanks Amazon.
Purchased for use in my older 2012 Grand Caravan that has no Bluetooth connection and didn’t want cables all over the place plugged into the auxiliary port, also wanted to be able to listen to the radio and still talk on the phone. This device fits the bill perfectly because of the built-in dual speakers. It was very easy to install after the initial charge and connected seamlessly with Google assistant. I can now just push the volume button to activate the assistant and say what I would like to do like phone a person, text a person, read text messages, listen to the news and find a driving route for any destination, without having to touch the phone. I had to set my Pixel 8 to keep unlocked while connected to the Avantree Roadtrip (extended unlock in settings) and give the Roadtrip access to Google Assistant, but once I did that it works flawlessly. The battery life is also very impressive too, I have had a few weeks and it’s still showing fully charged. This is a great way to stay legal and still use your phone in Canada. I also like the automatic power of when I leave the vehicle and power on when I get back in. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a reliable hands free set up in older (non Bluetooth vehicles. Five thumbs up from me 👍👍👍👍👍

– Pairs easily with phone, haven’t tried its 2-phone capability. Very easy to set up an use.
– Speakerphone totally rejects background sound even with car windows open and produces no voice dropouts even under severe background conditions. The parties I talk to are very thankful for this; they have long been annoyed by the background sound and dropouts with several other speakerphones I have used including the phone’s built-in speakerphone and my Bluetooth 2-way speakerphone hearing aids. Part of the key to this good performance is probably the microphone being so near my mouth, since the unit is mounted on the car visor.
– The built-in speaker is as good as an inexpensive small speaker is expected to be; being very near the driver’s ears helps it to work without having to be turned up to distortion level.
– The FM radio link is as good as FM radio links can be, i.e. there is some hiss and crackle but on the whole, with my fairly good quality car speakers, the speakerphone and music streaming sound over them is much better than the Roadtrip built-in speaker.
– The button is very convenient for answering, rejecting, and ending calls and redialing, and for initiating Siri commands. But with the microphone so near my face I don’t have to speak Siri very loud anyway, unless I have the speaker or car radio speakers playing loudly.
– This is the only visor-mounted product I have found that both streams audio via Bluetooth and acts as a speakerphone, and it works very well.
– Allows different phone apps to selectively use it, e.g. I can stream music over my hearing aids and use Roadtrip as my speakerphone.
So do I have any complaints? Only some slight ones:
– The unit is a little heavy, you might need to tighten the hinge on our visor to keep the visor from sagging, or add velcro to hold the visor up.
– I am tall and was annoyed by the unit being mounted on the visor, particularly when getting in the car while wearing a hat. So I used velcro to mount it on the ceiling above the rear-view mirror. I have not tested its microphone pickup and background canceling performance in this configuration yet.

To answer the unanswered questions, here’s my little list:
1.) Weight and size are not an issue, it’s even smaller than I’d assumed it’d be after shrinking my expectations, and even with the GM vans’ notoriously sensitive and unreliable sun visors, there was absolutely no hang even despite the fairly dense feeling.
2.) The dial will always control the frequency when in FM mode, volume is always controlled through the car and the transmitter is plenty powerful- hiss be gone.
3.) Whilst there is a play/pause feature, skip track is done via your device.
4.) The battery ‘ll most likely get you through a work week- maybe a full week- of commutes, potentially more with lighter use. If you’re planning on more consistent driving, budget for a charge every one to three days.
5.) The clip seems like it’d last when used on at-most 1″ to 1 1/4″ thick surfaces.
6.) The display does turn off when not actively being used.
7.) Double-clicking the dial consistently redials your most recent call on my phone.
8.) Using multiple devices is fairly seamless, though streams have a hard time picking which to use if multiple devices are playing at once.
9.) Whilst built well and making good use of it’s materials, definitely plan on a future replacement if you intend to use it on outdoor/off-road equipment or in commercial environments.

No directions needed. Battery was charged when I pulled it out of the box. My phone immediately connected to it. First time using it, played music straight from the unit. Sound is ok for what it is. Second time using, tried the FM transmitter. Selected a frequency and my work truck picked it right up. When I got out of the truck, I left the unit on. When I returned and started the truck, music instantly played from the truck speakers. There is slight static in the speakers at very low volume. Highly recommend it for those with older vehicles that can’t connect directly to their vehicle sound system. I’d give it 5 Stars (and probably should) if it weren’t for the static. But I don’t know, never used an FM transmitter before. Might just be normal. Again, I want to emphasize you could only hear the static at low volume.

Funziona molto bene, sia l’audio in uscita anche in entrata. Se ascolti musica dallo cellulare il suono è più che accettabile. La connessione automatica all’accesso in auto funziona molto bene, inoltre l’ho iniziato ad usare il primo gennaio e l’ho dovuto ricaricare solo il 29 gennaio, più che buono direi con utilizzo quotidiano per almeno 1 ora.
Unica pecca è un po’ graffiato grandicello, ma rispetto alle cose positive, posso sopportare le dimensioni.

Have used a few hands free devices in the past but this one is by far the best I have ever had, very good battery last a week easily and I use this quite often, nice and loud speakers, connects by itself throughout the day enter/leaving my car, connects quickly to both my own personnel phone and work phone.

Great product. Battery life, sound, simplicity of controls are excellent. The door sensor makes it so, if you’re on a call, walking towards your car, it won’t connect until it senses that your door has been opened. Previous units connect from a distance, so you suddenly can’t hear/talk until you’re in the car. This product solves this issue. Plenty of volume. Intuitive volume dial. FM modulator works well, though the speaker is plenty loud even on the freeway.
My first unit failed after 6 months and they honored the replacement. New unit works great!
