Makes the decision to purchase a complete strut assembly vs re-using your existing springs a no-brainer. These are a great option is you’re simply looking to replace your OEM units and retain factory ride height and restore your suspension back to factory ride quality. These were a direct fit for my son’s Sonata. They are a perfect fit and since it is a complete assembled unit, it only took about 30-40min. per side to replace.

I recently purchased a set of struts for my 2006 Hyundai Sonata, expecting a significant improvement in my car’s handling and comfort. Unfortunately, these struts have been a major letdown. From the get-go, I noticed that the ride quality was far from what was promised. The car feels almost as bouncy and unstable as it did with the old, worn-out struts. Installation was another headache; the struts didn’t fit as seamlessly as advertised, requiring additional adjustments and time. Additionally, I’ve started hearing squeaking noises while driving, which raises concerns about the build quality and durability of these struts. Overall, these struts have not lived up to the expectations set by their description, and I regret this purchase. I cannot recommend these to other Hyundai Sonata owners looking for a reliable upgrade.
