On the original install, these were pretty weak and slow. Easy enough to wire and install, but just wimpy. Under closer examination, the wiring kits you will see online (as well as the gauge of wire to the motors) is way too small. I wound up using a heavy primary gauge postive connected to a winch solenoid close to the passenger motor and that improved it substantially. If your windows go up with essentially no resistance, these are fine.

Well made , I used this electric window lift system to replace the air operated windows lift system in my 1993 Peterbilt. How to do, some minor modification, but much cheaper than OEM replacement and it is electric which is better than air powered window lift systems

These are universal so you will need to have some fabrication skills to mount them correctly. They worked in my 1993 Freightliner FL70 with a little bit of retrofitting. These units are very thin, low profile which is very important in the thin doors that the freighftliner has. The travel ended up being perfect. Excellent product and I will keep these in mind for future projects

The united works great when you are installing in a 1958 dodge truck it just doesn’t fit right in it takes a bit work and no how.But it does work great.

After getting the configuration dialed in this works great! We wanted to stick with a worm gear style and not a cable regulator, which lead to the purchase of this one.

My first aftermarket window kit was easy to install and had plastic gear adapters to fit over the old window crank handle stub. I kept stripping the plastic because the kit used the original window crank mechanism. This kit uses its own window bottom channel (or adapter) and requires no springs or plastic parts. Easy to install and seems pretty “beefy”.

You will need to read the “Product Description” before ordering this product because it does NOT include the switches, mountings and wiring as it shows on the picture that comes up when clicking on the product. The AutoLoc window lift works fine, even in an 8 volt system, which I have in my 1948 Lincoln Continental. The window comes down quickly with the weight of the glass but going up it would probably be faster in a 12 volt system which this lift is designed for.

I replaced a similar power window unit with AutoLoc Power Window 9848. Installation was typical for a hot rod and pretty easy since this was a replacement. Everything worked fine for 2 months and now the motor stopped working. I made sure to isolate the problem by powering the motor directly. The motor just clicks when powered in the up and down positions.
