We put this in my truck after it was stolen and recovered. We were able to start and drive the truck without a key with this. Not what you want in a truck that’s already been stolen! Returned.

I can’t say how long this will last; but, it looks similar to the stock lock cylinder. Installation is not easy unless you know what you’re doing; but, that’s going to be the same for the OEM one as well. For the price, it’s worth a try if you’re looking for something like this.
