I ordered a set of jumper cables from Amazon last year and they were fantastic. They were thick so carried plenty of current. No waiting for a dead battery to charge across the cables. I’ve used them on everything from from regular cars and trucks to large tractors and semis. I went to order another set for my other vehicle and they were no longer carried by Amazon. I found these and ordered them. Upon receiving them, they appear to be the exact same cables. I guess this is just a different distributor.

The clamps are nice and the cables are thick and heavy but not too heavy. My only complain is that one of the four clamps is a bit bent from shipping and handling. It works just a little off center. Overall these will work very nice for my application.

I ordered 3 sets for the children (stocking stuffers) and boy was the box heavy. I really like heavy gauge jumper cables and these definitely are heavy duty. I had my doubts, but I believe they are 1 ga wires. I really like the rubber coat clips. There shouldn’t be any inadvertent shorts. They are plenty long, so there shouldn’t be any problems hooking up 2 cars. Now I hope the kids never have to use them.

Massive jumper cables for my big beast V12 high compression engines. When those batteries are dead, takes a lot to jump the starter. So I built a 400 amp 13.6 volt switching power supply (yes thats 5KW) and use these to feed the machine and it works. These are copper clad aluminum wire which is actually a great idea as aluminum is a better conductor and lighter in weight but evil for electrical work as it develops high resistance oxide layer. So I was skeptical. One way around that is to clad the whole thing with copper- not that it suppresses the oxide layer because aluminum is very obstinate, but if you coat it over hundreds of square inches of its length, it seems like it makes good contact. Now I’ve lugged solid 1 Ga and larger welding cables around and its no fun. These are remarkably light and do the same job. Plus way cheaper than solid copper. As a nerd scientist I was skeptical but proved it to myself. As usual, I didnt get these for free, or reduced price or paid for writing a review, just a gear head like so many out there looking for solutions to pain in the butt problems for non-cranking motors.

Solid construction, heavy duty as stated (#1 gauge) and the connection clamp is study. The 16′ length is plenty long for what I need. The cable is flexible (must be fine strained CU). It is well worth the $$$$$$$. I have already used the cables couple time. Works great.

I do mobile repairs and use jumper cables often. These are the best cables I’ve ever used for several reasons- they’re long enough to reach without having to drive my tuck bumper to bumper, they have a strong clamp so they don’t fall off the terminals, they conduct enough power to actually jump start a large engine, and the pos & neg are separate cables. I though it was weird that the pos & neg were separate, but after using them I really like that feature- it’s easier to keep the ends apart to prevent them from touching and screwing up sensitive electrical parts.

Don’t scrimp on jump leads. You get what you pay for. When you need them it’s normally an emergency. I have used these three times. They are solid but flexible at the same time. Importantly they transfer the amperage you need to start a car. Well pleased and the carry case is handy too!
