Its a motorcycle chain cleaning brush, it has stiff bristles and gets three out of four surfaces in a single pass.
In the past I’ve used a stiff bristled dish washing brush from a dollar store because they were so much cheaper than the brushes you find at all of the ‘bike sites’. The downfall of that approach is that you have to manually scrub each surface of the chain, its not hard but it makes a simple task take 3X as long. For a fraction of the price this works just as well, seeing as there are two of them in the pack I doubt I’ll have to buy one of these again in the next couple of years.

If you need a brush to remove dirt from your chain, then you might be into motocross or adventure riding. I like these brushes to work the chain cleaning product into the chain before I rinse off. Bristles are stiff enough to remove dirt, but if you have product on chain to clean, then be careful this doesn’t spray you with dirt and cleaner. Run the wheel (manually) and let the chain do the work versus moving brush back and forth. These brushes work better than many other styles, like the round ones. I’m satisfied with the quality for my use.
