En cable velocímetro le quedó a la perfección a mi camioneta GMC o Chevrolet 1957

Installed pretty easily in my 1981 Caprice. Discovered the speedo unit in the dash can be pulled back just enough to pop the retaining clip holding the cable in if you provide slack on the old speedo cable from ahead of the fire wall. Screws easily into the tail piece on the transmission on the driver’s side. Be sure to fill this cable with lubricant (I used graphite in liquid form) to assure silent operation. Works like it should. Slightly overpriced here but worth it.

It would have been a 5 star product if it had been a foot shorter. I had to make a large loop and add an additional fastener to the frame before connecting it to the trans. It’s not kinked and works fine but it is not an exact fit.
I suggest avoiding the temptation to run it without finding some way to take up the extra slack. It was approx a foot too long and my first install resulted in the cable landing against the exhaust header. Overall the cable is fine and should outlast the truck.

Just a reference for anyone else that might need this part it is a little long I have the 5 speed but fits good there is a shorter one available but it may be to short for my application otherwise looks great already installed in the car
Go Man –
fit like it should.

Installation was easy and fits perfectly.

The speedometer wasn’t working on my 1980 Corvette. Installed this and now it’s back up and working. Great buy at a great price.

1983 Chevy c10 with turbo 350 trans. Was a perfect fit. A little long for my application but could route it differently to take up the slack.

I bought this cable for my 1973 C30 Pick Up. Even though this 80″ cable is 14″ longer than the original, making a longer sweep at the transmission and adding a longer sweep in the engine compartment takes care of the extra length with no problem. The cable ends are correct and attach easily. The biggest issue is that the Amazon description AND the ATP website indicate that cable grease is included with the purchase BUT none is provided. It doesn’t appear to be factory greased, so you’re on your own to grease the cable before installing.

Looks like a nice quality cable. Bought for a project and haven’t used it yet, but I plan to buy more for other projects
