Item did not fit my vehicle even though Amazon and vehicle description specifically stated this will fit your vehicle, I repeat, this item fits your vehicle quote unquote do you need me to put that in other ways, ” this item fits your vehicle” this is several times now Amazon has their definitions and okays and verifications twist it up and don’t know what they’re talking about and it’s all because if your vehicle does not fall in the year under the description it’ll say it doesn’t fit, here’s an example any item that’s supposed to fit in 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 4×4 four-door 5.7 l will also fit a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe LT 4×4 four-door 5.7 l and the body structure is the same the front end is the same the only thing that’s different is the rear end gear ratio and transmission that’s the only thing different nothing more all Cosmetics are the same but yet if it doesn’t say 1998 Amazon will shoot it down and say it doesn’t fit if I’m looking for something that fits in 1999 up to 2006 it’ll tell me this will not fit my vehicle but yet I know if it’ll fit a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe it will fit my 1998 Chevrolet Tahoe does anybody out there feel me and hear where I’m coming from because here’s the difference in 1999 Chevrolet did change the Silverado pickup body style and such cosmetics but as far as the Tahoes go they did not change anything this is what Amazon doesn’t know maybe they they need to pay attention here to my observations and research because right here I’m going to make Amazon look stupid all because of the programming that was put into their computer and here’s another thing for many many pieces on the Chevrolet from 1996 up to 2007 for sure many many cosmetic pieces are the exact same and we’ll fit just fine, I’m not saying everything will fit but I am saying for sure that Amazon needs to sharpen and to reinput the information that they have for certain models especially the one that I just stated a 1998 is the same as a 1999 when it comes to the Tahoes except for the rear end differential because the gears are different and the transmission needs to line up with the gear ratio of the rear end but other than that same engine same body style same Cosmetics same Windows same doors same radio but there are different extras my 98 does not have rear heat vents or air conditioning vents whereas the 99 that I have sitting here does, but that’s all with the bells and whistles per the product, so please Amazon sharpen your pencil and update your information per vehicle because I have found lots of things where Amazon says it won’t fit but I ordered it anyways for my 1998 even though it’s off of a 1999 but Amazon States oh this will not fit your vehicle this will not fit your vehicle, but Kevin says yes it freaking will yes it freaking will see this is where I make Amazon look stupid there’s many many parts off of a 1999 that will fit a 1998 the only thing Amazon goes by are the dates given an inputted into the computer if it fits a 1999 and it looks the same as the 1998 then it will state that it does not fit in 1998 but yes it will but yes it will, jackass

This cap was suppose to fit my car but it did not. However, it did appear to be durable and made of quality material. It’s too bad it did not fit.

There’s no indication what size hole to drill for the tether.
Start small and increase the hole size until it goes in but stays in.
