    This aftermarket strut is said to be better than the original because of a seal Continental created instead of a silicone bead from OEM. I installed in an hour, and it communicated with the vehicle computer as opposed to the much cheaper Chinese manufacturer I had originally put in. I was concerned of the fit because it’s appearance is different from the original, but no worries. It drove great after the install

    For the exact same unit, my mechanic’s cost would have been much higher. Luckily, he was willing to install the unit I supplied. No issues since its installation. BTW MUCH CHEAPER than getting one from Mercedes.
