There is no cpu unit included for the o2 sensor to hook up to and transmit readings to the gauge.. this is not a universal wideband meter that be “plug and play” also there is no nut to weld to the exhaust manifold for the o2 sensor to be screwd into.

Spend the extra money and get one that works. This thing is not accurate at all. Don’t waist the money or time to installing it.

Works for me, not sure how accurate it is, but it is confirming what I thought was happening from stopping the engine and pulling the plug at a certain RPMs.

Welded a (not supplied) SS bung to the exhaust 8 inches from the single cylinder head, attached the provided 02 sensor. Studied the drawings that comprise the instructions. The two white from O2 are heater + and – the O2 black is signal + and the gray is signal -. Red and yellow from the display are + the green is the O2 signal + and the black is chassis ground. So, with that I got accurate center digit voltage. The bar graph display of AFM rose from lean to the top few bars and hovered in the green “rich” rode it for 30 minutes to ensure it was getting hot and was moving from very rich to rich… (3 to 4 o’clock on the display.) Started the adjustment process and was able to get into the mid-range (12 o-clock but the bike started to backfire and cough. Obviously VERY lean but still running. I did notice they changed the mid-range from green to yellow. “Lean” is still red but it will not support running a one-cylinder motor. I will guess that proper mix is at 3 o clock not 12 as one would suspect. I will connect my oscilloscope and find actual voltages to determine what is afr 14… I am concerned that the signal ground may not accept being grounded and it is throwing it off. At that point you would need an ADC on a separate circuit and signal processing between the two to clean up the loss of precision.

I really was hopping to Install this. This weekend but it turns out that it not working properly

This gauge was fairly easy to install but I am not sure it is accurate. When I first start it reads correctly but after 20 to 30seconds the reading goes super rich or super lean. Reading the plugs tells me I am spot on for mixture though the plugs are too cold for the engine but no matter how I tune the brand new carb, it either reads 11.5 or 20. the only time it reads in between are initial startup where it reads 14.5. Changing metering rods or jets makes little change. Probably going to pick up a better unit once I have refurbished the rest of the drivetrain.

I wired as per instructions-would not power up. Checked all connections..OK.
Tried swapping power wires-no good. Must be a bad guage and I’m out of the return window. DO NOT BUY!
