These are pods and the outer case is made from plastic (like all other pods). I regret buying them.

Works well, dissolves easily and breaks down the grime, but it leaves a lot of residue. I know nothing ever rinses completely clean, but I was a little disappointed that I need to chamois the entire car (usually use a blower to blow it dry) to get the residue off.

I love handwashing my car. I always feel like I use too much liquid when I wash it, but these made it so easy and they had the right amount of suds.
