Ce produit n’est pas adapté à l’iphone (5c, 5 ou 5s) puisqu’il y a une pièce en plastique qui bloque l’accès à la prise jack en bas du téléphone. Vous ne pouvez donc pas brancher vos écouteurs si vous voulez garder votre téléphone bien coincé.

honestamente, jamas había tardado tanto en llegar un pedido, tardo 13 días, aunque no puedo culpar al vendedor sino al transportista, siempre me habían hecho envíos por DHL, y esta vez fue por UPS. Fuera de esto el producto se encuentra en óptimas condiciones y me encuentro muy satisfecho. gracias!

Facile à installer, fonctionnel.
Semble fragile et plastique de mauvaise qualité (quand on serre pour maintenir le mobile, ce n’est pas très rassurant le bruit que cela fait (heureusement qu’il y a l’élastique de maintient).
après qq jours d’utilisation à peine, le bouton de déblockage (qui ouvre la pince) fait aussi un gros bruit de craquement…
en gros qualité globale assez moyenne mais ca fait le job

I bought this product for my 1982 Honda Magna on May 29, 2014, and was happy with it for nearly two years. Just before the warranty expired, however, the holder failed, while I was going 70 miles an hour on the Interstate, and after breaking loose from the base, glanced off my helmet, and disapeared behind me. While it startled me, I was fortunately able to maintain control of the bike, and thankfully my Iphone 6 was in my belt holster at the time. It worked for a long while, until it didn’t, and it failed catastrophically, but was not covered because it was left behind me on the interstate, and therefore I was unable to prove to Arkon that the product had failed, so don’t count on great customer service either. There are better, more reliable, and more certainly supported products out there. Pass on Arkon, or ride at your own risk.
Update: I was too hard on Arkon’s customer service, which ultimately did come through with replacement parts so that I could put the phone holder back into action (the ball part that one installs on the handlebars). Because of this, I am raising my rating from one star to four. The phone holder does work well, although if I were buying a new one I think I would go with Arkon’s other model, which uses a slightly different system. Still, having said that, this phone holder does it’s job.

Hard to type on an iphone when the straps are across the phone (I guess you shouldn’t be texting and riding anyway…). Starting to show some signs of breaking down after about a year of light use and exposure to the elements. All in all, the price is right and it does what it is supposed to. I feel I have definitely gotten my money’s worth from this product and will buy another when this one dies.
Here is my honest opinion –
I bought this for my husband and like it so much more than my current holder that I am ordering a second one for myself.
I have been using a sleeve bike mount for my iphone 4 (now 5). I have a thin gel case. The sleeve works, but it is difficult to push the phone in very far without taking the case off, and I am way too lazy for that. When I switched to a iphone 5, the bottom jack for the headset became a problem. I need to thread the headphone jack through the case. It is a hassle. My husband uses a big case for his phone and I know he does not want to take it off. This looked like a great choice for him.
The unit installed very quickly and easily. I was a little confused until I really looked at the instructions and saw I needed to remove a screw and reinstall it the other direction, but once I figured that out it went on smoothly. The holder is attached very securely to the bike. It is very easy for him to put his phone on the holder and take it back off. The only drawback is that it provides no water protection for the phone, but I think a ziplock bag can be used when necessary. I have run into issues with waterproof protection causing our phones to overheat in the sun (dry bag used on a boat), so I think throwing a ziplock into my bag for bad weather is a great option.
It fits his iphone 4 with the big case and my 5 with the gel case with no major set-up changes. The sides slide in and out to fit whatever size we need them to be. I like the idea that I won’t be stuck with an obsolete holder the next time I change phones (like I am with my old Apple chargers!)

I bought this to put my iPhone on my cycle which I use for touring on and a bit off road. I had these basic specs.
1. It must not be possible for the iPhone to come off (It needs to be *strapped* on)
2. It needs to allow me to charge the iPhone as I ride (from a USB battery pack) – so there must be access to the charging port.
3. I didn’t want it to be confined specifically to iPhone or some particular model of iPhone. I want to be able to put my iPhone in without removing it from its case, and in bad weather I want to mount it in my waterproof case (iDry Waterproof Phone Case)
4. I wanted it to be sufficiently robust not to break or come apart on bad road surfaces or when off road
I have now done a few hundred miles with this, and am 100% satisfied. Its quite big and not very pretty – but my previous one which was rather more elegant broke in use and my iPhone broke in the fall.

The item looked a little cheap but went right onto the handlebars of my large V-twin motorcycle. It has little rubber spacers so that it fits a variety of handlebar sizes; I was skeptical that it would hold considering my bars are significantly smaller in diameter than the mounting clamps. Anyhow, screwed it on and rode 380 miles without any adjustment and the mount held without budging. I can see that it cold weather, the plastic knob could be vulnerable to breakage — especially if you grab the thing and try to move it — so time will tell. The mount has a nice angle to it so I don’t see any need to move the phone once it’s in a satisfactory position. The mechanical clamps hold my phone tight — I tried it out by mounting the phone and swinging the mounting unit around and trying to throw off my phone — but it held tight with no movement. The bungee cord is just extra insurance against loss. I have no reason to doubt the durability of this unit and would recommend it to a friend. For reference, I have one of the smaller smart phones: an LG34C Optimus Fuel. But a larger phone would also work as the mechanical clamps spread quite wide.
UPDATE: 4/15/15. I sold my big V-Twin bike and got a smaller V-Twin (V-Strom 650) in January (2015). This little phone mount went onto the wee and it works fine. I ride year round and have used the mount in temperatures down to 5 degrees without any problems. It is plastic and I don’t expect the thing to last forever but for now, it continues to serve me well.
UPDATE: 10-15-15 — Have over 12,000 miles on this great little phone holder with no problems. I’ll buy another one if this one ever breaks. Wonderful little item.
UPDATE: 8-5-16 — sold my Wee and moved up to a V-Strom. I also upgraded my phone. The phone mount continues to serve me well. The release mechanism is starting to get a little sticky (the arms don’t spring open immediately when I press the button) and the rubber bumpers which cradle the phone are starting to peel off but I expect the mount to last until next year, at least. The gentleman who bought my wee liked my phone holder so much, he ordered the same one. A great product for a great price.
Update, 10/24/20: I’ve lost track of how many bikes I’ve installed this same mount on but I now have a 2020 iPhone SE and have it installed on a Versys x300. The band has stretched over the years so I cut it and tied it shorter but the mount is still sturdy and functioning well. I also have a couple ram mounts but I like this little holder because it doesn’t stick up more than a couple inches from the bars while the ram mount sticks up about 8” depending how it’s adjusted. Wonderful little product !!
